We won’t make it to Christmas without a new board.

Well done to everyone for getting this far and thank you for your company.

Here’s to a healthy and happy 2026.

I think it depends on body type. I have a narrow build and am flat chested and struggle to put in muscle. The really athletic people in my family tend to look wiry and toned rather than buff. So for me, a BMI of 23 will put me at the curvier end of healthily slim. My friend is a muscular hourglass with spectacular breasts, and a BMI of 23 on her would look unhealthily skinny.

maz99 · 06/03/2026 19:09

Hi... has anyone seen the news about the new pens without the golden dose coming out in April?

Supposedly, a few pharmacies have sent emails out informing people to buy before they change.

What a way to start panic buying...!

But on that note, dies anyone know if Medexpress allow the purchase of more than 1 pen at a time? 😂
I've found a 35% discount for them on the blue light card 👌

GhostOrchid · 06/03/2026 23:28

Well done everyone. What amazing successes. I can’t believe it’s been nearly six months. I took jab 24 today. Still on 7.5mg.

Another 1lb off this week. Eating hasn’t been great, quite a few carbs and also some skipped meals but hey ho. Will focus more on protein next week. Also joined a local Pilates class this morning, which I enjoyed. I’m beginning to look a lot slimmer. My collar bones are showing through and I’m developing a bit of a turkey neck (erk) but overall I look and feel good. Another NSV: I have a pair of heeled lace up brogues, which I love, but I only wore them rarely as the pressure throug the balls of my feet was just v painful after a while. Now I can wear them all day quite comfortably.

SW: 109 kg
CW: 87.8 kg
interim GW: 86 kg

My ultimate target is 66kg but I have no idea if I’ll get there, stop before I do or go beyond. I’m naturally curvy with large boobs and an hourglass shape and I don’t want to lose all my curves. I’d be quite happy as a 12/14, so we’ll see.

JustPickleRick · 07/03/2026 08:29

Morning all :)

Weighed and jabbed yesterday, down another 1lb.

SW: 12 st 9
CW: 8 st 12
GW: 8 st 7

5 more lbs to go and i'm at target 🥳

Things have settled down with the weight comments now too as everyone is used to me looking slim now 😅

I also don't feel like i'm on a diet anymore if that makes sense, like i'm eating healthy and weighing food/calorie counting but it's not tricky and it feels 'normal' now. I let myself have little treats and i'm still losing. I'm in 2 minds over whether i'm at the right weight now so anything i lose moving forward will be slow and steady rather than big losses!

Tried on swimming stuff from last years holiday last night in the hope I'd be able to wear some of it again but it sagged so bad 😅 weightloss is expensive! I much prefer this problem to the way I felt last summer though 🥹

UnimaginableWindBird · 07/03/2026 10:23

6 month weigh-in for me!

SW: 211lb (size 20-22)
CW: 164lb (size 14-16)

My next goal weight is 154lb which will put me at a BMI of 24.9. And after that I'm planning on settling at a BMI of somewhere between 21 and 23 depending on what feels healthy, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing, which would mean a range of between around 130-140lb.

Pinkbox · 07/03/2026 15:22

OneDayIWillLearn · 05/03/2026 14:04

Can I ask how people have arrived at their target weights? I’m starting to slightly question mine. Healthy BMI starts at 11 stone 4lbs for me and when I started I would have absolutely taken reaching that (which is now roughly where I am) and stopping there if needed.

However I entered 10 stone 7lbs as my goal weight as it’s the lowest I’ve ever got through ‘normal’ dieting and thought it would give me more wriggle room. I got to that particular after a long stint on weight watchers in my twenties and maintained around 10 stone 8-10lbs for five years after that, and seem to remember feeling good at that weight - BMI would be 23.1.

But while googling various things like TDEE during this latest process I keep coming across figures for ‘ideal weight’, which for my height would be something like 9 stone 10lbs. But what even is an ideal weight?? I was going to dismiss it as a made-up idea but then found an NHS source referring to it: https://www.nhstaysideadtc.scot.nhs.uk/Antibiotic%20site/pdf%20docs/IBW%20Table.pdf

I haven’t weighed that since I was in my early teens though and I feel I would look very different if I got to that weight - though maybe it doesn’t matter if that’s good for my health? I still have quite a lot of fat even on the cusp of healthy BMI, so I suppose I can believe I could lose another stone and a half and still be very far from skin and bone.

I guess I just don’t know if i have a good enough reason to be aiming for the target weight I’ve chosen. I’d be interested to hear anyone else’s thought process to compare notes!

I have gone with the very top of the Healthy Weight range of the BMI chart for my sex and height, which is 10 stone 5lb.

My starting weight in Sept was 13 stone 2 (having lost from 14 stone myself in a year’s 16:8 eating). My heaviest ever was 14 stone 7 lb. Am 5ft 4 and a half.

I am not sure if it’s possible or actually sensible to aim that low. If I do get there I won’t have weighed that for 30-35 years.

I think I am now hovering around the best weight I could manage when I was in WW, aged approx 28. They also had the healthy BMI target for me and I just couldn’t shift those last few pounds.

Anti-depressants and osteoarthritis are both factors in weight gain for me, never mind a love of chocolate and wine 🙄

So I am going to use my latest 5mg pen for the next month and then decide whether or not to stick wherever I get to and try to maintain. I also have a 2.5mg pen which I got in a weird bundle last year, so I would plan to use that as I start the maintenance period.

Pinkbox · 07/03/2026 16:24

Actually I am going to alter my target to 10 stone 7, as that is half way between the borderline for people 5ft 4 and 5ft 5. Hurray, am closer now!

Chopsy123 · 08/03/2026 08:23

Weigh in day yesterday and minor victory…the scales read 11st 13.5lbs.
So, I’ve broken the 12st barrier and I’m 1lb away from a 3 stone loss!!!!!!

I feel spurred on and the weather has been good these last 2 days so I’m taking the dog for a long walk in the woods this morning. It’s a lovely walk as the path hugs the coastline in parts.

outofofficeagain · 08/03/2026 08:31

Congratulations @Chopsy123that’s great.

i’ve taken my first 7.5 dose (Friday). Feel fine so far although quite tired and felt a bit nauseous yesterday (like mild morning sickness).

Suppression is definitely higher.

Current weight 13stone 10 and target weight is 12 stone so still a fair bit to go. I’m hoping to spend to or 3 months at 7.5 and then titrate back down.

I’m going to really up my exercise now spring feels like it’s here. We have a holiday booked for end of June and would love a new summer wardrobe/swimming costume in a 14.

We are in the Cotswolds for the weekend (weather dreadful) but I thought the charity shops might be a cut above. Picked up two summer blouses for £4.50 each (one Seasalt, one White Stuff). Will be good for our upcoming holiday at the end of April. Both 18s. I thought they might be too big but they fit well - it’s the tits. That’s fine. They wouldn’t have got close a couple of months back.

SnowWhiteisMyFavourite · 08/03/2026 09:55

@GhostOrchid I wish my local charity shops would stock good quality clothes too! Might need to travel to some more affluent areas 😄 I ordered a couple of Seasalt and White stuff dresses from Vinted in size 18, they should arrive next week so looking forward to seeing if they fit!

I was meant to ask you how you are finding pilates? I’m thinking of joining a Pilates class too but feeling very anxious about it.

GhostOrchid · 08/03/2026 11:25

Good luck with your purchases! I bought a Seasalt dress (new) before Christmas and I really like it. It’s an 18 but quite a loose and unstructured fit so I think I can keep wearing it for a while.

I found Pilates fine. I’d say the average age in the class was about 70 (I am a few weeks shy of 50) so it didn’t feel intimidating (there was one little old man, everyone else was female). It was mat work (rather than reformer which is much more hard core and seemed to attract a younger, fitter crowd the one occasion I did it) and found it fairly gentle although it is intentional and you have to think quite hard about what you’re doing and some of the moves I couldn’t do (stretching to touch my toes and feet). I am nowhere near as bendy and flexible as some of the older ladies in the class it seems! Afterwards I didn’t really feel like I’d exercised but I have felt it in my bottom and hips the last couple of days. The instructor let me try the class for free, and she was friendly and welcoming so I think I’ll go back. It suits my routine.

Give it a go! You’ve nothing to lose.

outofofficeagain · 09/03/2026 17:35

Dear lord, after not having any side effects apart from a bit of a headache and a bit tired for 6 months, moving to 7.5 has been a lot.

Jabbed on Friday but since last night had terrible sulpher burps and explosive diarrhoea. This has coincided with me travelling London for a conference so it’s been fraught!

Chopsy123 · 09/03/2026 18:55

@outofofficeagain Oof, poor you, that sounds horrendous. Hope it settles down soon. 🤞

Were you presenting or just participating?

Hopefully, you could nip out for a breather or to the loo when you needed to?

Maybe blame having a dodgy tummy on the buffet or tap water? 😂

outofofficeagain · 10/03/2026 06:04

Well I appear to have lost 3lbs since yesterday but I’m back at the conference again today and too scared to eat anything 😳.

I may do 6.75 this week.

I’ve had 2 immodium and some dehydration salts and hoping for the best.

wish me luck!

OneDayIWillLearn · 10/03/2026 09:16

@outofofficeagain oh no that sounds awful!

Only 1/4lb off today on my official weigh-in day - been much lower during the week so it’s a bit frustrating! 11 stone 5lbs this morning, starting weight 13 stone 10lbs and goal weight 10 stone 7lbs.

It’s been a tricky week though, I’m in a period where work is very intense - a lot of physically demanding work and I’m on call a lot with late nights and early mornings. I enjoy it and it doesn’t last that long but it can be quite stressful while it’s here. According to my Garmin I’ve burnt around 3000 calories a day most days this week! So I am trying to let myself eat a bit more without feeling too guilty but even so I’m still not really tempted to snack or binge on biscuits which feels like a big win.

It was this time last year that I started piling the weight back on after getting down to 12 stone from 13 stone 8lbs with ‘normal’ dieting. Compulsive eating when stressed is probably my main nemesis so it’s amazing to see how MJ is able to control even that for me, I would never have believed that possible.

Hi everyone...

Has anyone bought more pens after the announcement about the 5th dose being removed?

I already have two 15mg pens in the fridge, but still ordered two 15mg pens over the weekend - one from MedExpress (got 35% discount with blue light card) and PillSorted

So, I now have quite a stockpile because I only started a 12.5mg pen last week taking 6.25mg from it.

I plan on taking 7.5mg from the 15mg pens to get 10 doses out of each pen, which should take me to February 2027. I'm hoping that this will get me to maintenance or close, so that when I do order again (after 5 months) 2.5mg will be ok.

Is there a clear announcement somewhere that confirms details of how or when the newly designed pens will come onto the market? presumably all the suppliers will have different stock levels of existing pens with use by dates

maz99 · 10/03/2026 18:36

This is the information that I've seen posted

SnowWhiteisMyFavourite · 10/03/2026 18:45

@outofofficeagain hope you had a good day and you haven’t felt sick!

re stockpiling ahead of the new pens arriving, make sure you check the expiry dates. My last few pens have had an expiry dates well into 2027 but the latest one which arrived last week expires in December 2026!

SnowWhiteisMyFavourite · 10/03/2026 18:49

My NSV (well sort of..) today: my Vinted order arrived today. Absolutely gorgeous Seasalt dress, pretty much never been worn so a great bargain too. Size 18 and it’s too BIG!!! I’m not sure if my tears should be happy or sad!?

The two 15mg I have in the fridge ordered in Jan & Feb have April 2027 as the expiry date. The one from Pillsorted was delivered today and that's also got April 2027

Kazzaa46 · 10/03/2026 22:26

I’ve stayed the same weight for the last 2 weeks. Just 4lb to go to target and it’s clinging on for dear life 🤣 but if I look at the month I lost 3.5lb in just over 4 weeks which is still pretty good.

I just took my second 7.5mg. Was lucky to have no side effects last week on my higher dose. Suppression was no higher but I’m hoping it just gets things moving again so I can maintain on 5mg.

I haven’t stockpiled pens but do have 2 weeks to go on my current pen plus another in the fridge and will order another soon.

I’ve just sold some of my clothes on vinted that were too big. Was my first time using it and practically gave them away for what I charged but I thought someone else might as well enjoy them.

I was laughing at myself as I really wanted a pair of boots that cost £140. I bought them thinking that’s so much for boots but then reminded myself I’m dropping £170 on WLI every month without a thought 😆
