We won’t make it to Christmas without a new board.

Well done to everyone for getting this far and thank you for your company.

Here’s to a healthy and happy 2026.

That's interesting, I put my order in with Asda the other day and I had to resubmit photos. It also gave me a message of how I may want to start tapering down now as i'm at a healthy BMI. As soon as I resubmitted my pictures, they approved instantly 😅 happy to see i'm still wobbly enough for thr jabs lol

Down another 1lb this week. That puts me at 9 stone 1. Aiming for 8 stone 7 so only 8lbs more to go 🥳 things have definitely slowed down though and I don't feel like 3.75 is doing anything anymore but it's testing my will-power 🫠 I may have to move up to 5mg soon.

Ah that might be the reason. I'm still nowhere near healthy BMI!

outofofficeagain · 02/02/2026 19:08

I had a bit of an issue going back to Medexpress after shopping around.

it would have been easier if I had photographed the prescription box of my most recent order.

yes! definitely photograph the box labels so you have proof you haven't had a break in treatment. I only ordered the 5mg pen last week which I had to persuade my provider to sell me after explaining why I wasn't ordering from them more regularly, and today I've had a reminder from them that in 2 weeks I'll have to reorder after dose 3! In reality I've still got a last dose from the current pen and the golden dose so I won't even be opening the new one for 3 weeks. Maybe they're getting more pushy about managing us. At this rate we'll all be building up a backlog/stockpile.....

bluepaperwaspofbxl · 03/02/2026 22:40

Both me and husband ordered some more pens earlier. I got annoyed with Lloyd’s bc they wanted a video and quit the process to order elsewhere. Husband wasn’t asked to do anything. Not even a photo and his order is done.

bluepaperwaspofbxl · 04/02/2026 18:23

Edit: They contacted him today to ask for a photo, but he didn't have to do the video.

OneDayIWillLearn · 04/02/2026 20:38

2lbs off this week rather to my surprise! Which brings me to 11 stone 8.5 lbs, past the two stone lost mark and about 5lbs from a normal BMI. Starting to notice the difference in my face recently (I have previously noticed people tend to comment on my weight loss when I go between 12 stone and 11 stone and not before, and I suspect it’s the difference in my face that shows at this point for some strange reason).

This week I’ve also been noticing various NSVs. I’m in my 4th week of a 10k running training programme and feeling the fittest I’ve been for three years. I feel lighter in spirit too, and have found myself having some surprisingly deep and open conversations with people - not just about weight! - and being much more open to new experiences and, for example, having people around to the house. I seem to be able to focus more easily on harder work tasks, and be procrastinating less. It might just be coincidence, but it feels like it is related.

Anyone else recognise these kind of things?!

OneDayIWillLearn · 05/02/2026 08:16

Oh I forgot, my best NSV which was hearing my brother has a set a date for his wedding this summer and, for once, hearing news of a wedding and NOT immediately thinking ‘god I need to lose weight before then!’. And then usually not managing to and discovering a couple of weeks before the wedding that a dress I’d thought I could wear to it a) is too tight or won’t do up and/ or b) is ‘unflattering’ so then panic ordering 3 or 4 different dresses online in the hope one of them will be ‘flattering’ and make me feel great. Which invariably they don’t.

Instead I’m actually just excited for the event itself and not too worried what I’ll wear. What a relief!!

So bloody proud of myself. 21 weeks and I have reached my target. No messing about, sticking to my calorie allowance every single day, sticking to my exercise routine and eating consciously. Previously one bad choice would end up in a bad day that would turn to a bad week, to a bad month to giving up. So this time I made a promise that I wouldn’t let myself down; and I haven’t! 🥳

I'm in two minds over whether i'm at target now or to keep going to 8 stone 7. Currently 9 stone 1 and a size 8/10 now. Quite happy to stay at this and not have anyone else make comments about wasting away 🙄 yep, today's conversations were fun 😅

SerafinasGoose · 05/02/2026 21:19

This is brilliant. Some people really are getting close to target.

I have another stone at least to go, and hoping to break the plateau soon.

GhostOrchid · 06/02/2026 08:44

Congratulations!

I am still a long way from my ultimate target (although according to Shotsy I’m 40% of the way there as of this morning). Another 2lbs gone this week, for a total of 38 lost since late September, or just over 17kgs. I’m just 3lbs away from one-derland.

SW: 109kg
CW: 91.8 kg
interim GW: 86kg

My BMI has dropped from 40.5 to 34.1.

First week on 7.5mg has been fine. Not felt much hunger, and when I did it passed quickly. Eating has been good. No side effects apart from a few mild sulphur burps.

namechange0998776554799000 · 06/02/2026 08:59

I'm a long way from goal too:

SW: 18st 4lbs (19st 4lbs a few months before MJ)
CW: 15st 0lbs
TW: 9st 8.5lbs

I've hit my first target of 15 stone, which is the lowest I've been for a few years. Lowest I've ever been since having children is 14 stone, so that will be my next milestone. I don't know what I used to weigh before that but I don't think I've been below 12 stone since I was a teenager, so it feels odd to have such a low goal weight but I think I'll just see how I feel along the way.

I'm finding 7.5 fine too, no particular side effects, suppression is fine, continuing to lose 2-3lbs a week

GhostOrchid · 06/02/2026 10:19

Keep going, @namechange0998776554799000 ! That’s an amazing weight loss, We’re in the same ballpark.

Shotshy has set my ultimate goal at 66kg, which I think is about 10 stone something and would get me to a healthy BMI (just). But I just can’t conceive ever getting there as (I guess) I’ve not been that weight since early adolescence. I have a vague memory of being weighed at school at age 15 or 16 and I think I was about 80kg. The nurse seemed surprised and faintly horrified.

wodantimbercoaster · 06/02/2026 10:44

Weigh day for me. Was really hoping to lose 2lb from last week as it would have meant I had lost 3 stone in total. But no, my body is stubbornly holding on to this 3rd stone and only lost 1lb. So I'm still 1lb away from the 3 stone milestone. I feel like I've been at a '2 stone something' weight loss for about 7 years 😂, but in reality it's been about 10 weeks. It's mildly frustrating, but it did include a plateau over Christmas of about a month. I took my second dose of 5mg last night and I think I may be having side effects for the first time. Very gurgly stomach and slight diarrhoea. Lovely! I'm going out for dinner tonight, so hoping it sorts itself out!

UnimaginableWindBird · 06/02/2026 12:03

I felt a bit meh at my weigh-in today, as I've only lost 1lb, but realistically this is the weight that I've been expecting to plateau at - it's my long-term post-kids, pre-perimenopause standard weight. But then I looked weight lost over the past month and it's been half a stone, so I'm actually absolutely on track.

wodantimbercoaster · 06/02/2026 12:06

Prices may be falling. Just had an email from Asda saying they're reducing the prices of weight loss treatment. Looks like their MJ is going down by about £20 a pen. I had heard this might be happening soon. Someone I follow on YouTube mentioned theirs has gone down too from another provider. Apparently a knock on effect of prices in China decreasing massively and also due to the impending introduction of pills instead of injections, which will apparently be much cheaper to produce and therefore cheaper to buy. Hopefully this is just the start of the price drops. I have enough MJ in the fridge to last for a few months. I'm hoping by the time it's gone that I won't need it anymore. However, I will be keeping one eye on the price of pills in case that's a cheaper and easier way to help me maintain when the time comes.

SerafinasGoose · 06/02/2026 15:40

Weigh-in. Still plateauing at 13 stone for about the 6th or 7th week running.

Until last week there was no movement on the scales whatsoever, which at least meant the plateau hadn't become a rebound. Over the past week, since increasing to 1500 cals, I've seen a bit more fluctuation - sometimes to 13 st 1 lb, sometimes to 12 stone 13 lbs. Hopefully this indicates something's changing. Until then there was no fluctuation - it was completely static.

Focusing on the NSV, especially the fact that I can now wear my previously too-small North Face Arctic Parka - and as the wind chill feels positively arctic this week it's all to the good!

Atalosswhat2do · 06/02/2026 18:12

Thank you!

@GhostOrchid40% of the way through is amazing! I do like Shotsy for the visuals. I also love that they count your weight loss in bananas. 🍌

@namechange0998776554799000 superb 👏🏼 You have done amazing so far!

@JustPickleRick Thank you! I am going to continue as I have been for the next 4 weeks, to see where I am. I think ideally I want to settle somewhere between 8st 7lb and 9st. Some people really are weird aren’t they! If it’s the same ones always saying it, then you can safely assume it’s jealousy. Your reply back should be a laugh followed by ‘do you know I had to keep dancing in the shower this morning for fear of falling down the plug hole’ 😆 Just remember you are doing this for you, YOU decide when your happy.

SnowWhiteisMyFavourite · 06/02/2026 20:19

@Atalosswhat2do that’s brilliant! Well done on getting to your target, it must feel great!

@JustPickleRick congratulations to you too! You’ve both done so well!

All of us others, let’s keep going and trust the process, we’ll get there too! And remember: -1lbs is still a loss and even staying the same, is not a gain! That’s what I keep saying to myself!

😂 that made me laugh, haven't heard that one before! How tall are you? I'm 5ft 2 so 8 stone 7 puts me right in the middle of the bmi scale.
I've taken my jab tonight with a syringe and decided to do 0.5ml which is 4.17mg. Slightly up from my 3.75mg i've been on for ages but i've really struggled this week. Hopefully a small jump up will help a bit 😅

I’ve been unwell the last couple of days with a flu like virus (fuzzy head, painful joints, fatigue) but also involving some gastric discomfort. I can’t know how much of that part of the illness, if any, is because I went up to 5 mg last Sunday. I was quite happy on 4 mg 22 weeks in, but my provider phoned me about my order and quibbled about me underdosing and using a pen for more than 30 days. It was only me agreeing to go up to 5 mg that made them agree to sell me the 5 mg pen I wanted instead of the 2.5 mg pen they proposed thinking I’d had a break in treatment, what with the long gaps between orders due to the way I’ve been increasing in gradual increments. Which has worked brilliantly for me up til now. Next dose due Sunday. Would you go back down to 4 mg, after having had a wobbly tum which might be unrelated to MJ, or continue at 5 mg? I never had side effects before. If anything the appetite suppression was a bit too much after what was my first 5 mg dose, but then I got ill and lost appetite anyway. Going down to 4 mg would also involve some fiddly pen bridging in the next couple of weeks whereas I have a perfectly neat 5 mg dose left in my current pen. Grateful for any thoughts
