Shemed Cancellation

Does anyone have experience with this company?

I signed up for wegovy £139 for the first month. I then changed my mind and emailed the next day to cancel. I didn’t realise they issue you with a blood test to be administered at home! They are only willing to refund £80 as the blood test kit has already been sent and they won’t accept a return even if it is unopened/sealed.

Any advice on how I can challenge this? I paid by credit card if that makes any difference.

It's in their terms and conditions, so I think it will be hard to argue against it, unless you can show that they did not tell you the Ts and Cs or about the required blood test:

"You may cancel your participation in the SheMed Insight Programme any time before using our services, that means before the blood test kit is shipped to you or before you attend the onboarding and verification call, whichever is earlier. In such a case, we will refund the first month's fee of £99 or £199. Please contact us if you need to cancel." - my italics.

Was it in the terms and conditions? Its a subscription i believe

I don’t think you can challenge as it’s been shipped. Plus there is a 30 day cancellation period.
