Wegovy - no golden dose?

Just that really? Unlike the MJ pen, there isn’t an extra golden dose??

I've only used Weg once before switching back to MJ, but I got one golden doses using a microfine needle, and a bit left over. I've never tried to force the pen with MJ - always used a needle - so no idea about that!

I believe there isn’t for Wegovy. The Mounjaro pen will eventually not have excess liquid left after 4 doses either. Eli Lilly are working on making this change.

I've had two Wegovy pens - also switched back to MJ - and definitely got a golden dose. I've seen this on threads before, it's weird that some of us do and others don't!

Maybe the difference is between twisting the pen (this doesn't work with Wegovy I think) or using a needle, which I do, same as a pp.

I'm on wegovy now through Voy, and there is no golden dose in the pens I get, no.

I used both Ozempic and Wegovy and there was no golden dose.

The wegovy pens only have a small amount of extra liquid for priming, so no extra.dose. MJ pens will evetually change as well, and drop the extra dose.

I'm on wegovy and even with a microfine needle there has been less than 0.1ml left over in my pen after the 4 doses

There isn’t a golden dose with Wegovy. BUT the 0.25 and 0.5 pens are exactly the same so there’s always some left over in the 0.25. Past that, there is only a little bit left for priming, but never a whole dose. This has always been the case
