Did the maths and it turns out it's been a cracking deal so far, totally worth it. And I'm finally off my blood-pressure meds, which feels amazing.

I just put in my details, I have spent £9 per pound lost, so £146 per stone. Worth every penny!

WhiteAmaryllis · 04/12/2025 20:22

£31.39!

SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 04/12/2025 20:31

£28.12 per KG with one dose left in the current pen.

NorthernEmma · 04/12/2025 20:36

Definitely worth every penny! feel like I’ve genuinely almost offset any money spent as I’m so cheap to feed now 😅. I used to be buying meal deals on my lunch break as I was always starving. A bottle of wine for the evening, or a takeaway at the weekend.

If I lived on my own instead of having to feed a husband and a house of teenagers I think my food bill would be ridiculously low these days as I eat simply, and small portions.

WeAllHaveWings · 04/12/2025 20:48

Spent £1,577 on 12 pens, lost 130lbs at the end of pen 12 which works out £12.13 per lb (or £26.75 per kg)

Used the pens over 72 weeks so cost £22/week

(all were pre price hike and all, except pen 1 were 5mg)

chunkyBoo · 04/12/2025 20:49

£37.40 /kg first 8 weeks, but maintained last month so much worse now … not goi g to do the maths for that lol

PurpleCoo · 04/12/2025 20:56

I average out at £40 per kg. Although if I had calculated it two months ago it would have been much better. I have only lost 2kg over the past 2 months, so that's a fortune per kg, but then I am only 3kg from goal and the lightest I can remember weighing for many years

HappyWineDay · 05/12/2025 08:46

£38/kg. Most of that will be with pre-August prices though.
But as has been mentioned, if I worked it out for the first couple of months only, it'd have been much better, when I was losing quicker. Weight loss has slowed down in recent months.
I'll be going into "maintain" shortly so that calculation won't work for me.

PurpleCoo · 05/12/2025 12:22

I am a plonker. An ill one in fairness so I can be excused. But I added up my average monthly spend not taking I to account the fact that I have two full pens in the fridge, and those will last me a while as I'm not taking the full dose. Although it won't be a massive change as after weigh in this morning, I only have 2.75kg to go until goal. Current oens should hopefully see me through maintenance and titration down.

Franklyannoyed · 05/12/2025 12:26

10 pounds or so per pound lost, but I’m in maintenance, so now I’m paying I guess 150 quid a month to stay this weight, plus all the health benefits the drug brings, for me worth it. Of course I’d rather it was cheaper. But I will pay this to stay slim and healthy, I’m not going back and I’m not going to spend my days struggling, been there done that, had a life time of it, and it’s shit.

Placestogo · 05/12/2025 13:08

A slow loser here and it costs me £55 a kilo!

SnacklessWonder · 05/12/2025 13:22

Just over £15 per kilo for me.

Swissrollover · 05/12/2025 13:35

About £29/kg to goal weight. 10 pens over a year, 105lb, 48kg.

Planning to stay on for at least a year to 18 months, basically however long my current stock lasts as I very gradually reduce my dose by a click or two each shot.

MeridaBrave · 05/12/2025 16:18

£38 per kg. A bargain.

AugustMounjaroTeam · 05/12/2025 16:32

Not a clue, because I was bizarrely bad at keeping records - for a positive reason though, in that from the first day I took it, I just lived like a 'normal person' and didn't give any of it much thought really, it all just worked. Do regret a bit now that I haven't got notes of how long for each dose, etc.

I know that when I started, I worked out that it would cost me about £1.5k for the year, and that felt like a huge bargain. I lost six stone in that time. If my pricing calculations were about right, that's around £39 a kilo.

AugustMounjaroTeam · 05/12/2025 16:40

As @NorthernEmma says, would be interesting to know how much we could offset against the cost of the jabs with reduced food bills too. I know that I spent huge amounts on 'treats', let alone the reduction in normal food levels that mean what would have been a meal is now e.g. a meal and two lunches.

The jabs were definitely not a flat cost out for me.

IsItSnowing · 06/12/2025 09:37

I've been on it 14 months, lost 78lbs. I've got just over a stone to go and my loss has been very slow the last few months.
I'm not at all sure how much it's cost me but at least £2k - probably more. I'm glad I could afford it because it is worth every single penny to me (although don't tell Eli Lilly that lol).

Flyingfruit · 06/12/2025 11:32

At the moment £15/kg with one dose left in current pen!
