Yes, took 1 tablet, never felt so awful in my life. Vertigo, nausea, vomiting, I felt like absolute death. Never again 💀

Ah ok. When I first started it I had some horrible side affects not like you did though. Mine were loke a foggy mond abd I was very tired couldn't stay awake. And I was very emotional at one point. It was less by day 5. Im on day 18 now but I have stuck to just the 1 tablet which seens to be enough for me. The side effects are pretty strong so im not keen to up the dose.

I started Mysimba in January. Starting BMI 32, current BMI 22.6. Over four stone lost now, 28% of my starting weight.

Minimal side effects for me. Constipation was a problem to start with but easily addressed with prunes and chia seeds. Some nausea and stomach pain for the first few months, but nothing intolerable.

Never stopped enjoying food but my tastes changed: really enjoy vegetables now and make sure to eat plenty of protein. Not bothered about carbs.

Downsides are fewer suppliers, no flexibility with dosing or maintenance (I was forced to buy a full dose every month and now have a large stockpile which will expire before I can use it all) and there aren't any active support threads on here. Also it doesn't have the statistical success rate of the injectables. Guess I just got lucky!

When I started it was the cheapest option. I took the view that if it didn't work I'd know before I wasted much cash.

Sorry, cross post. Didn't know you were already taking it. I definitely second sticking to one tablet if it's working. I lost weight faster than intended because I followed the dosing regime.

Can I ask how you’re getting on with Mysimba? I’m looking to start but really on the fence

I replied in the thread you made. But I used a different name. Mysimba threads don't seem to take off.
