Mounjaro and headaches

I'm on mounjaro 5 weeks, took my first 5ml dose on Wednesday. I had a bad viral dose over weeks 3/4 but I've just realised that I had a headache before and still have it. I tend to get weather headaches which is why it took me a while to add it up, but this has been near constant. I think I'll try switching to wegovy but I really don't want to waste the remaining doses I have. Has anyone experience of managing bad headaches on MJ?

I had headaches for 2 weeks almost daily when I started MJ. It does reduce blood pressure and sugar so it could be that. It also removes excess water so can cause dehydration. You have to eat little and often, drink plenty of water and eating higher protein and taking electrolytes resolved my headaches. I don't know which was the solution but I was happy that they went.

Yes, I realised yesterday I hadn't been drinking as much as usual so I'll get back on that. Are you taking electrolyte supplements?

Yes as I have low blood pressure and it helps with that. My blood pressure went from 145/92 to 107/72 within weeks. 13 months later I had it measured at GP and it was 110/60 at fasting!

I developed a bad headache yesterday - day 2 of 2.5mg - I do suffer with them a lot anyway but wondering if this is connected & also to the sudden decrease of sugar in my diet.. I have been drinking loads so pretty sure am not dehydrated. I have beta blockers to help with migraines generally but bit worried about taking them if the mj decreases blood pressure too..? I’ve taken codeine and paracetamol & it’s not shifting!
