Been in weight loss jabs for 5 months. Did not lose weight quickly at all.Eat well. Take Perfectil for hair and nails. Biotin. Collagen . Have protien yoghurt and powder. Also take Magnesium.
Bloods all ok including thyroid.
Despite all this my hair is falling out at an alarming rate. Ive lost 3 stones but I'm still overweight. The injection is the only thing that's helped me so reluctant to stop but don't want to be bald !

I don't think anyone actually loses enough hair to go bald. It goes in cycles, sheds for a couple of months, then regrowth, and then nothing for a while. Sometimes you have another cycle of shedding/regrowth/stabilising, but it isn't permanent and usually self resolves.

It's been falling out for ages. Hoover has been clogged twice. Every time I comb my hair there is loads. When I wash it its worse. Getting sick of hair everywhere. This is not a cycle. I'm 65 and know my hair

Pumpkin seed oil is the one thing I’ve done consistently since a huge freak out in the summer. I do take a lot of supplements already (helps my peri symptoms) so was doing all of that. But this was one I thought I’d try as evidence seemed good and I wanted to be doing ‘something’

it’s still a bit of an issue - it was fine but plentiful, now it’s just fine. It still sheds a bit more than it did but it’s stopped coming out constantly. It’s also in great condition so that’s something I guess.

I've been on mounjaro 13.5 months and lost a lot of hair for 13 months now. On Friday I switched to wegovy to see if that helps. My energy has definitely improved so far.
Could it be low calories? I only lost 1lb a week but I do low carb and cals to lose due to being small.

Are you using an anti-shedding shampoo? Head and shoulders do one and since using it there is significantly less hair in the plug hole (you don't need to have dandruff to use H&S). Check your diet to make sure you are getting enough iodine, zinc and B12. Be very gentle with your hair, use bond repair conditioner (Dove is very good) and avoid heat tools and dry shampoo as much as possible.
