What happens when you need to take a break for a month?

Have been on Mounjaro since August, currently on 10 mg. I’m going to have to come off it for December - just can’t justify the cost.

Stupid question I know but what happens when I want to come back on it? Do I have to start at the bottom again so to speak?

Talk to your prescriber. I had to take a break due to side effects and went back on according to their advice (lower dose) which had been successful.

Speak to your provider as the pp said you likely will need to start at a lower dose k maybe 5mg, but if money is really tight, maybe you can make 5mg work for you, which would be financially beneficial.

My provider allows me to order every seven weeks without explanation as to why. I got ahead of myself with ordering when the price increase bollocks kicked off therefore I’ve just been ordering to stay inside this time limit. So this will vary from place to place.

It is bad advice medically but I would be using a 12.5mg pen and using lower clicks to get more doses out of it.

I do this. I’m on 7.5mg but buy a 15mg pen and split the dose. Saves so much money
