We have all been on for heading up to 17mths now- we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This next year will almost be harder.

To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

only 2 words to say 😂😂

looking good @Blondeshavemorefun i like comparison pictures, I did a face one and can really see the difference, after not really seeing it that much in the mirror , when i look at them side by side I realise I was really fat in the face before.

Motnight · 06/12/2025 11:59

Hello lovely people. Have been keeping up with this thread but not been posting @Blondeshavemorefun I remember your photos from last year!

Really useful to read about how people are maintaining, though I am still a way away from that.

I am about to start my final pen stockpiled from before the prices went up. Has anyone got recommendations about which prescriber to go with?

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/12/2025 12:21

I do love a comparison pic

thanks @FurForksSake I thought I was slimmer last year. Most have been around the 3/4s mark and people started noticing

thanks @Azuresky68

@Motnight I plan to go pharmolous as been with them before and was the cheapest but I haven’t checked online to who is cheap now

Loving this comparison pic! You look fabulous. I weighed in at 11st 6.8 so half off. I'll plonk away and get the half stone off. Its still a 3 stone loss but I can feel that 7lbs in my clothes, ideally I'd like to be 10st 12lbs but 11st is good for maintaining this time of year. Because I've been eating things I shouldn't my tummy and poos are awful (sorry) not healthy poops.
It's back to the good things weekdays and treats sat and Sunday. My walking hasn't been as much, I managed 2.6 miles today with one dog on lead. When I got home I couldn't even sit down to pee for the pain in the stupid crispy hip! That's another reason to keep the pounds off.

My decorations aren't up yet, need a tree, has everyone done theirs? I love a real tree, xx

FurForksSake · 06/12/2025 15:03

Tree tomorrow, I can’t go into the field to choose due to crutches and the risk, but I shall sit in the car and then examine it when they haul it back to the yard.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/12/2025 21:39

Thanks my little Crustian 🦀
7lbs will come off hopefully in 8w or so

sorry hip hurts

yes we have our tree up as of today

Just for a bit of fun if you like AI...have you tried GROK...a free app? You upload a photo and you can ask it to make a 6s video. The best one was when I asked it to dress me in an evening outfit...got to say it made me look very glam! Shame I can't upload on here. You can say things like laugh, dance, wave....hours of fun!

Azuresky68 · 08/12/2025 11:15

Did a screen shot of end result! Not my outfit..I was wearing shorts!

@NippyNinjaCrab Lovely to see you back on here.

I'm experimenting with one month on and one month off. So, no MJ at all in November. I put on 2 pounds. I know my weight fluctuates by a couple of lbs, but in the last two of weeks in November it didn't fluctute down at all. I was doing pretty well with my eating most of the time. I use a smaller plate, serve myself smaller portions and I generally eat more healthily than I did 18 months ago. However, I noticed that I was back to eating much more quickly than when I'm on MJ, and that my smaller portions were not quite as small as before - so the tempting buttery mashed potato had a medium sized dollop rather than a morsel. Also being small and restricted in TDEE calories I usually only have 2 meals per day - a brunch and a dinner. I definately had more days when I had breakfast, lunch and dinner.

So I was back on 2.5mg on 1st December. I did wonder whether it would be the complete impact of the very first time... it wasn't. But I've felt the benefit, found it easier to resist snacking and I definitely notice the reduction in food noise. And one of the additional 2lbs seems to have gone.

I've clearly got more to learn / habits to look out for etc. I'm glad I'm back on MJ for the festive period. 2 lunches out this week and I need to make good choices, although the bigger temptation is when I cooking and hosting at home as I will make ALL my favourites!

I still plan to continue with alternating months so will have January off and February on. It halves theprice and means I'm not using a pen for extended periods.

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/12/2025 19:44

Oh 6 seconds. I thought you meant 6stone 😂

@Blondeshavemorefun I find on MJ that I am more likely to take a dislike to something and not eat it. Tonight we had these haddock kievs I was really looking forward to them but the fish was a bit dry and I left most of it (ate the lovely crispy crumb though!) It is as if I am more sensitive to things. Some dishes I used to love make me feel a bit nauseous now.

morbidcuriosity · 09/12/2025 15:30

Wow, so little update. Pharmalous. Ordered yesterday, email just now approved, will be sent out for my chosen date of 16th.
Bmi of 21.5, new to them, want maintence on 10mg for a few pens then come down.

FurForksSake · 09/12/2025 15:43

@morbidcuriosity did you have to have a maintenance call with them before ordering?

morbidcuriosity · 09/12/2025 16:01

Nope. Just the form online, pic of me full head to toe, I.D and pic of my last 4 box as ordered August Sept. There was a space to add anything you want them to know, I said I've very recently reached this weight and want to stay on 10mg for couple pens then come down.
I was expecting I would have to arrange a call etc that's why I started the process now for next week delivery.

Shocking that I was trying to make myself look as bad as possible in the pics, tightest top, belly stuck out as far as I can. Haha.. different from previous life, hiding behind people and breathing in. Lol.

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/12/2025 16:27

That’s brilliant to know and be Confirmed

as in I know they said they would approve me when Asked - but nice to know that they do iyswim

FurForksSake · 09/12/2025 17:03

@morbidcuriosity can you give me a link? All I can see is how to book a maintenance

morbidcuriosity · 09/12/2025 17:39

I just googled pharmalous and then in the 3 lines at the top, go to weight loss, then view weight loss options, then start your consultation.

Should then start the questionair, and in that you have to do the upload of the pics, so take the pics first it's not a live camera thing, it's an upload one.

wohmum · 10/12/2025 01:27

thanks for this info re Pharmulous- i might give them a try for maintenance as i also bought my last ones in Aug/sept and am around 22 BMI.

Azuresky68 · 10/12/2025 07:46

Another update about Pharmulous..I posted further down the thread in more detail. Very quick and easy to order from. I emailed them a few questions and they called me back. You can specify delivery date too. If you have a gap you have to start again in 2.5. I ordered 10 mg but am going to dose 5 mg each time so there will be a gap! Told them i had a couple of pens in stock and wanted to order in advance so I keep a couple in stock which is true at the moment.

Azuresky68 · 10/12/2025 07:47

Medicine Market Place is cheaper because Pharmulous now charges £4.99 for delivery.
