Hi all,
I’ve been taking Mounjaro since March ‘25, I have lost 38kg and I am now at my target of 60kg.
I started running in August and up until a week ago I was doing 5k three times a week and I also walk to work and back every day.
As the good ole weather has being doing it’s British thing, I got my boots out and I started noticing I was quite stompy and making a lot of noise as I walked. So then I wore trainers again and it still happened. I’ve come to realise that I can’t lift the front of my left foot up.
A bit of Dr Google-ing has told me that rapid weight loss can cause nerve issues and added to this I’m pretty sure I cross my legs at my desk a lot more than I used to when they were chunkier.
I’m really hoping that with conscious effort to stop crossing legs and a bit of time this flappy foot will improve. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had similar and can give me hope?!
I want to carry on with my running but I’m scared I will trip and do myself a mischief.
I have an MSK appointment week after next but I have a feeling they will say there’s not much beyond stretches they can do to help. It’s getting me down a bit :(
Thanks for any and all comments and sympathy!!
