Help me get back on mounjaro please

Hi everyone
i had been on mounjaro via a private prescription for a year, lost until i was under one stone from my target weight.
with the cost increase i went to wegovy and got a script and have put on almost a stone. It has done nothing for me.
I have no time to look at the charts for who is best with work and caring commitments - please can someone direct me to the best/cheapest place 🙏
I am now 5 ft 4 and 10 stone 13.
do I need a maintenance or normal application?
I am in NI for delivery.
My last wegovy prescription is dated 1 Sept 2025.
please help me as to who I should approach to get a prescription.

You will need to start at 2.5 again. Does your bmi put you in the obese catergory?

Try Swift, they are one of the cheaper ones and support maintenance/restarting. No idea about whether they driver to NI though.

I’d say if you are only a stone over weight then you’d be better off going to your previous supplier and explain what you’ve said here

I was up at 15mg but it got too pricy so I went down to 10mg and I actually think it was giving me a better effect!
Are there any other pharmacies you’d recommend for my position. I wish I’d not changed as I’ve wasted £300 and put weight on and been very ill at times but 🤷‍♀️
I can’t remember what pharmacy online I used as I’d been getting the script privately but I’m now priced out of that option so I need someplace more competitively priced that will deliver to NI and at my weight

Lotus will help you, they offer maintenance and are excellent

Pharmulous say that you can take a break and then restart. That’s why I am using them although I haven’t actually taken a break yet.

I would think that if you have been taking a drug continuously every pharmacy would help you switch back to Mounjaro although what dose might differ. Won’t your Wegovy provider help?

Swift do deliver to NI, via Royal Mail, just checked their website and that’s what’s in their terms and conditions.

What dose of Wegovy were you last prescribed? What was the reason for stopping it during October?

I’m in Northern Ireland and use cloud pharmacy for maintenance.

i can’t fault them at all.

As it’s more than 8 weeks I think even with Swift will have to start at 2.5mg. If you’ve taken Wegovy more recently they might let you start higher. I’d email them and explain.

i had a 2.4 pen from wegovy and started it using tge lowest dose and building it up - so I’m not long stopped.
It was IQ doctor had been with before but for a long time I’d been getting scripts from a private doctor near by - online is much cheaper so I want to start back.
I’ll look at Cloud and swift - will they need pictures etc do you know?

This is exactly the post I needed to see! I have been searching on google to find the answer and I literally saw you posted this a few weeks ago. I think we are in very similar boats. I started mounjaro in Nov 24 at 14st 2 (and got down to 10st 2 just before the price increase in Sep 25. Decided to take a break for financial reasons and was doing ok until a month or so later i could feel the food noise and cravings coming back - and sadly i caved in. I have struggled with emotional eating and sugar addition for most of my adult life. I went over to Wegovy and that was one of the worst experiences. I’ve had the most horrendous side effects on the lowest dose and honestly some days felt I wasn’t going to make it. Absolutely terrible experience and only managed two doses over around 8 weeks. Complete opposite to literally now side effects with Monj and feeling the best i ever felt physically and mentally. I am now 10st 12 and absolutely miserable and so disappointed with myself. I bit the bullet and ordered 2.5mg of Monj through CheqUp and it’s being delivered tomorrow - I think i paid £109 with someone’s referral code. Sincerely hoping i will have another positive journey and finally get down to my goal weight of around 9st 7. It’s really tough and despite many people thinking it’s an easy journey, it isn’t. I hope you have a positive start, please keep me updated about if you feel it’s the same the second time around! Fingers crossed for us both!

Sorry to hijack; I moved to Wegovy 3 months ago but i have no supression at all on it despite being on 2.4mg. My bmi is 25 - I still need to lose 7-14lb. I am with Zava and moved after being on MJ for 15 months due to the price. I woud like to move back to MJ with a new supplied - who will take me on with a bmi of 25?

Pharmulous will probably take you and help you get back on MJ. I switched to them when my BMI was 24 and have been with them a few months with no issues. After my first order was approved I did a phone consult with them for free about maintaining and taking a break and then restarting. Most of the advice I got is now in the FAQ at the bottom of this page. I particularly like “Remember, we are here to help and not hinder your journey.”
