I’ve been on MJ since April, worked my way up slowly from 2.5 and have been on 7.5 now for about 6 weeks. When I first started on 2.5 I felt a bit tired but no other major side effects. In the last few days however, I’ve felt exhausted all day and in the afternoons & evenings I’ve just feel rubbish all-round - slightly nauseous, SO tired & just generally under the weather, along with much bigger decrease in appetite than I had before. I know it could be something else but I really can’t think what. I haven’t been drinking alcohol, getting a good 8 hrs sleep every night, pretty sure it’s not any kind of cold. I haven’t changed doses recently but considering tiredness is the main symptom, I think it must have something to do with the mounjaro. Anyone else have this long into starting treatment for no apparent reason?

Yes when I hit bmi 25 the doses were all too strong for me, I was prediabetic when I started at 13st 1lbs, at around 10 stones was bmi 25 and I had gone upto 15mg as the doses were rubbish wearing off quickly leaving me ravenous. They suddenly got too strong so I moved down to 12.5, then 10 and 7.5, which was slightly weak and I was more hungry and snacking so 8.5 seemed a goldilocks dose for me. Last 2 weeks it's been strong, not eating until 4pm usually, only a coffee in morning, but decent evening meal but ive also had a lot of stress and poor sleep. I'm going to drop to 7.5 mg to finish pen off and then lower if still strong.
Have you had stress or sleep issues? In severe stress I have a poor appetite. Are you drinking enough water?
I've had low energy since the start of M really and soon moving to W to reduce hair loss and low energy issues.
Have you lost a lot of weight?
And it has been getting a lot colder and dark so SAD affects many of us. Try taking a vitamin D tablet and multivitamin if you don't already.

Thanks for your reply. No stress and my sleep has never been better since I’ve been on mounjaro. Literally fall asleep as soon as I lie down! And get at least 8 hrs every night. I’ve lost nearly 3 stone in 6 months and bmi is around 23 now. I’m eating a reasonable amount still (enough for that not to be the cause of low energy I think). I’d like to lose another 10 pounds ish before I come off it. I try and drink a lot of water. I feel like I did years ago when I had severe anemia - sitting at my desk and don’t even have enough energy to type. I just want to lie in bed. It’s a horrible feeling

So your dose could be too high. I'm bmi 22.9 and I'm going to drop as I have very little appetite and energy, I am going through a stressful period but it's jab day today and I've barely eaten. I also just want to sit around and I've also been anaemic in past. The reduced appetite would lead to less food intake and iron so it could be that. I have liquid iron that I take, but sometimes forget. Might be worth not injecting for a few days and going back down to 5mg to see if that helps you? You have lost quite quickly too. What calories are you hitting a day and do you have more protein?
I'm doing 8.5mg so I'm going to go to 7.5mg.
