How soon after you inject do you personally start to feel symptoms/effects? JUst curious!

They’re not symptoms and it totally depends on the individual. Some might feel something within hours whilst for others it can take higher dose pens to make any difference.

That's why I was looking for people's personal experiences. I've been on the jabs for a few months now and want to tweak my timings a bit as I'm finding I sometimes feel unwell at work. Sorry if you feel I used the incorrect terminology. I'm not a doctor and simply came on here looking for friendly advice and support. Hopefully others will be more able to answer me.

I have never had any side effects, but if they are making you unwell I would suggest looking at what you are eating and potentially lowering the dose.

That wasn’t the question you asked, however!

If you are struggling, try moving your jab day. You will respond differently to everyone else. When do YOU feel side effects? You are the only person living your experience. I haven’t really had timed side effects in the whole 18 months I have been taking MJ. Mine tend to be related to what I have eaten or (in the early days) how much alcohol I drank. I use Shotsy to record my jabs and it reckons the dose currently peaks about 24 hours after I take it but my strongest suppression and satiety is often days 3, 5 & 6. No logic there at all and all so unpredictable and personal to me!

Think about when YOU feel unwell and try moving your jab a bit to see what happens. It’s all a personal experiment tbh!

Again, Work, I apologise for using the wrong word. You clearly are very knowledgeable, having been been on this journey for a year and a half. I can't afford to do that so I'd like to make the most of my last couple of jabs by chatting with people who have experience of tweaking times or days. That's all!

My suppression peaks on day 2/3 but I don’t get side effects so can’t help with that.

Goodwitch9 · 06/11/2025 18:30

Thanks PearlTeapot. I love your name!

I try to jab on Friday morning, knowing that I will feel a bit tired on Saturday and Sunday. Then by Monday I’m fine, no other side effects.

Thanks Over, great advice!
