Restart after break

I had to have a break as I had surgery (with complications) so I’ve been off mounjaro for about 4 months. I was on 12.5 and had little effect from the lower doses. I was a slow loser.
what shall I restart on? I’m worried if I ask my provider they’ll put me on a low dose and it will take ages and £££ but worried if I restart on a higher dose I’ll get a lot of side effects (which I’m prone to).

Speak to your provider but it'll be 2.5mg I suspect due to how long it's been.

They may not actually approve it though. Its prob retained the option from last time. Have you considered wegovy?
Also your body may be more sensitive to it after the break so you may not need such a high dose as 12.5.

@Mysticmaiden I was thinking it may say no as I get further along the ordering process.
Can you tell me the pros of considering Wygovy?
I need to look into pricing too as I realise Mounjaro has shot up

Look on www.monj.co.uk and www.igovy.co.uk wegovy is a lot cheaper but some say weaker, but some prefer it as they can still eat without that nausea feeling and its supposedly doesn't drain energy or cause hair loss like mounjaro does. Wegovy also has proven heart protection benefits. I'll be moving on to it after finishing my pen.
