Switched from MJ to Wegovy and not benefitting

Just wondering how other people have found the switch. I've gone from 10mg MJ to the equivalent (1.7mg) in Wegovy 3 weeks ago. But I basically feel like I'm getting no benefits. On the bright side, I've also got no side effects (I did feel constantly rubbish on MJ but was at least loosing, slowly).
My next pen is the max dose of Wegovy so will give that a try before giving up. But it's a lot of money for something that's done nothing for me 😕

I'm using my overdraft every month to pay for it because I'm desperate to loose the weight.

I'm also going to join slimming world in the hope I can get the diet better, but I'm certainly not eating anywhere near as much as I did pre jabs, and making better choices etc.

My understanding is that the highest dose of Wegovy is actually only equivalent ish to 7.5mg of MJ.

Reddit is full of people moving back to MJ after an unsuccessful trial with Wegovy. I am sure it works for some and they’ll be along to tell you about it but the majority seem to feel it’s no where near as good.

I am assuming you switched due to the price increases? It’s all completely crap and so many people have been priced out because of it.

I haven't switched, but I have read some people feel it kicking in in the second month - hope it kicks in for you soon, fingers crossed.

Unless they have had a shake up and dropped pasta is a "free" food and the "syn" concept, I wouldn't use slimming world as gateway to making better food choices.

I lost 3.5 stone on Wegovy. I'm now maintaining on Mounjaro because my supplier stopped selling Wegovy. I'm maintaining but I know I couldn't lose any weight on it.

So, my conclusion is that the effects wear off whichever you use- maybe your body gets used to it.

It doesn’t wear off as your body gets used to it, if it did diabetics etc wouldn’t be able to use it, it would be too dangerous. It just keeps doing what it always does.

what does happen though is it works differently for everyone and not everyone does it work well for, so their losses are in part due to the psychosomatic impact , they think it’s working really well and they are suppressed, so they eat accordingly, then when the novelty wears off, and diet weariness sets in. they feel the true effects and think shit this doesn’t work so well for me, it works, but not as well as I thought it did. When it’s always been the same.
