I've just collected my first supply and wondered if anyone wanted to join in with the journey! I'm on 2.5 and I'm 14st1, goal weight is 12 stone as that is my pre baby weight and we'll see how I feel once I've reached it!

any tips on when to take it each week? I'm going to avoid alcohol and even though snacking is my weakness I think purchasing a supply is going to make me stop in a weird way. Any tips gratefully received and if anyone wants to join the journey for support and no judgment here's the place!

@RoundandSadit looks like it’s for new orders unfortunately otherwise you could! We need to set up something to share codes and all swap round the providers Grin saying that Voy gave me £50 off the next two pens when I went to cancel so I’m sticking it out with them for the ease! I’m hoping those pens will be enough.
I'm so looking forward to being a healthy weight again.

SexyFrenchDepression · 03/12/2025 20:33

@user593 that does sound really tough on you. I really hope the jabs will be amazing for you.

tobee · 03/12/2025 20:33

Any NSV anyone is hoping for? Apart from fitting into clothes i couldn't previously I've got a pair of shoes thar have always been a teeny bit tight. Be nice if I could fit into shortly.

I remembered in the shower today that my wedding ring was often falling off in the shower when I first got married, which was nearly 14 ago. That hasn't happened in a while. Not something I especially want to happen in itself btw but it would be an indication of change!

RoundandSad · 03/12/2025 20:35

@JustBeach no worries, thanks

NSV i've got a couple of watches that I actually can't wear. I had the links taken out because I used to have really slim wrists. And I didn't keep the spares. So I would like to wear those again. If I can find them.

Those sorts of areas are the last to lose weight though aren't they?

definitely battling normal sized appetite today. I suppose it's good practise this is gonna be a very long haul if I've only lost 5lb in a month maybe I should cut back on carbs

did the supermarket order last night and I did notice that it was less and also there's much more cheddar in the fridge than they would normally be at this stage!

JustBeach · 03/12/2025 21:02

@RoundandSadyour comment about more cheddar in the fridge made me think- I’ve noticed how much more money I’ve had this month . I usually transfer a set amount for my daily spends to a seperate account and for the first time I had a nice chunk left! I’ve stopped the lunches when I’m at work, and the quick stops to the shop for milk (but really for chocolate and crisps). Obviously as soon as you’re in the shop you pick other stuff up and are £30 down! Even with the mj price, I’m still up on a normal month.

I can send you a couple of referral codes

@SexyFrenchDepression yes please! Thank you

TaffyTabby · 03/12/2025 21:28

So jeal of other people’s amazing losses.

I’ve eaten a bit more the last couple nights. Took my forth dose today, so hoping I don’t pay for it tomorrow.

Can’t wait to see 14 stone instead of 15 on the scale.

TheHappyHedgehog · 03/12/2025 21:37

Sorry if everyone knows this, but just been catching up on posts and seen a few people looking to move providers for subsequent pens and looking for discounts.
The https://monj.co.uk/discount-mounjaro-price-list/ lists all the prices and discounts for first orders are in the last column. I started with Farmeci and then have just ordered with Pharmacy2U. Cheapest ones are in bold. Hope it helps someone.

I've been saving by not getting coffee and cake out and no deliveries/take away. Also saved on wine and those cans of G&T and little cocktail cans I get on a Friday/Saturday which I normally eat with crisps or nuts or whatever

@TheHappyHedgehog did you have issues with pharmacy2u discount codes application?

I used a referral code from someone on here and it worked. Someone used one of mine today and that seem to have worked also. It is for £75 for new customers.

Springbaby2023 · 03/12/2025 22:14

@bakingmad123 I think the strength training is the most important exercise when on MJ as you don’t want to be losing too much muscle, so if you’re doing that I wouldn’t worry too much about anything else if you’re struggling to fit it in.

RoundandSad · 03/12/2025 22:18

I picked up on some of the talk about losing muscle

Am I right thinking this is only an issue if you are losing weight quickly? And it's not related to the medication it's just about weight loss generally?

Springbaby2023 · 03/12/2025 22:41

@RoundandSad Yes it can happen with any weight loss, I think because essentially your body doesn’t know to just get rid of the fat, it decreases everything. And I think the more rapidly you decrease your weight, the most likely you are to lose muscle mass. But also with MJ people are eating so few calories that they’re not getting enough protein

That’s why although I’m disappointed I’m not losing at a massive rate like some people on here, I’m also making sure I don’t eat too few calories.

No issues. I used the new customer code from https://monj.co.uk/discount-mounjaro-price-list/ by pasting it into the box at checkout and the 5mg pen cost me £128.50.

I’ve just tried 2 of those discount codes , they were both invalid , anyone have any advice ? What am I doing wrong or are they time sensitive maybe ?
If anyone is happy to share a referral code , I am not concerned re sharing my name and respectful to the other party privacy Thank you , 3rd jab today so think of ordering 1st 5 mg to be prepared .

I have sent you a PM

SexyFrenchDepression · 04/12/2025 08:01

I have been taking creatine powder to help with potential loss of muscle mass. No idea if it helps or not but was recommended by lots of people. I also am managing to hit my protein goals each day of over 1g per kg of weight.

Springbaby2023 · 04/12/2025 08:05

@SexyFrenchDepression O stopped creatine as thought it might be making me nauseous, could have also been the jab of course. Need to try it again now I’m feeling less side effects from the actual jab!

Oh thats interesting, my nausea was worse after starting it i think but I didn't connect it, I did feel more bloated though so stopped it for a week and now back on it so I will monitor that! I put the nausea down to the fact that week 2 and 3 the jab levels would have been building up. I will let you know if I get nausea again then!

SexyFrenchDepression · 04/12/2025 09:51

Decided to go for the 3.75mg today. Uhmmed and ahhed over sticking to 2.5mg but have felt more food noise last couple of days so want to see how it goes. Will go back to 2.5mg if I get similar symptoms to week 1 as I want to be able to enjoy food still which I have done this last couple of weeks.

Results for me have been great so far so I am actually excited to see how I manage Christmas like a 'normal' person without ridiculously disordered eating 😂 Mentally I feel so much clearer. I have a lot of other stress in my life but I have been sleeping better than I have for so long.

I am hopefully looking forward to not having to wear spanx with every Christmas outfit and having no choice of clothes by new years eve!

Yes please, that would be great. Thanks very much.

I used the Pharmacy2u link as soon as you sent it me yesterday and so far I haven’t heard anything. I can’t even see anything on the website in the account I set up regarding my consultation, so I think I’ve somehow messed it up. Thanks for the link though. Hopefully I’ll hear something today.

They seem to respond very quickly to messages so might be worth dropping them a message. Their website account section isnt the most easy to navigate.

Oh and it did send me an email at 16.51 yesterday to say someone had ordered via my link.

RoundandSad · 04/12/2025 11:27

@SexyFrenchDepression did they give you the name of the person?

I woke up feeling really rubbish. It can't be the MJ because I'm due to take it again tomorrow.
