I started mounjaro on 1st July. I started at 12st 8.5lb and I'm now 9st 11lb.

I went shopping today as all my clothes are now far too big. I used to hate shopping. Never felt right in anything. But today I had a fab time. I've still got about 1st to lose to target weight so I only picked up a few bits.

My highlights are a pair of wide leg jeans, a shallow v neck jumper that is slightly cropped, a pair of trainers and a faux fur mink coloured coat that sits at my waist.

I used to avoid wide leg jeans as they made me look huge but now I'm smaller they really define my waist and don't swamp me. The cropped jumper and coat which sit on my waistband really help show my new shape.

For the first time in ages I don't feel frumpy and huge. My jeans and coat are a size 10 and my jumper is a small.

I did use chatgpt to help me work out what clothes would look best. I uploaded a photo (from the neck down) and it was able to tell me I was an hourglass shape and what styles would work. Ideal length of jumpers and trousers to make my proportions look balanced. It also knew that of my 5ft 2 height most of my length is my body .

Anyone else want to share shopping successes?

Fabulous... Well done! The joy of clothes!

I have a bunch of coats and jackets that I couldn't do up. First I could do them up at a squeeze, and now they do up easily.. Yay!

It feels great doesn't it? I've gone from 13st 10lb to 8st 10lb and clothes shopping is such a joy. A little bit too much perhaps, as I have may have overdone it 🙈 But I just love buying clothes now. Good luck with the rest of your journey!

Love it. Great being able to do all my work trousers up, and they’re actually loose now! I used to have the top button undone.

Another NSV, but not shopping (sorry). My blood pressure is in the ‘healthy range’ for the first time in years. I thought it was normal to have raised blood pressure as I’m in my mid-40s. Who knew that losing 2.5 stone and getting into a normal BMI range (only just at this stage! BMI 24) would have such an effect. Feels great to not have to worry about my bp anymore
