Lost voice, can only whisper

Hello,

I took my first ever 2.5 Mounjaro on Wednesday night. Yesterday and today I've been coughing and today I can barely speak, only whisper. My throat/vocal cord area hurts so much, it hurts to swallow but breathing is fine.

I know I could have caught a virus or bug as they are going around but I'm just wondering if this could be a side effect of Mounjaro or whether anyone has suffered with this before?

I have an underactive thyroid and they levels are normal.

The new COVID variant does this, it's called the 'voice killer'. Lasted about 2 weeks for me.

My gp doesn’t believe in thyroid levels.

suffered since 10 years of age (official diagnosis unlike today’s tentative maybe) and in the last 24 hours felt crap in terms of cold) cold hands and feet they are so thick to know what else this causes.
