Titrating down advice

I’m at goal weight and maintaining well. The plan was to gradually move down from 12.5. I did a month on 10 and actually lost a few more pounds. The plan was to do a month on 7.5 then 5 etc.

However, I’ve done 1 x 7.5 jab and the suppression is still high and I’m wondering if I should just move down to 5 and then 2.5 quicker. Maybe just a week on 7.5 and then try 5.

I think I have responded well to all doses and lost weight fairly easily (well with fasting and a lot of exercise).

Has anyone moved down through the doses quickly?

Have you tried spacing out the doses? The spacing out reduces the total amount in system

im stopping abruptly to personal circumstances and may restart in spring, I went up to 14mg after 13 weeks on 12.5 . Then did 7 mg after 9 days hunger came back vengeance yesterday day 10 , doing my last jab around 2.5 mg 10 days after the 7mg jab

I didn’t as the first dose of anything will be higher than the second due to the residue from the previous, higher jab.

I did a further 6 weeks on 10mg, 4 on 7.5 then moved down to 5 as I was still losing. Having done 8 weeks on 5mg, I am now on 3.75 and planning on taking two more at least before thinking about 2.5…

My weight is pretty stable and staying inside my maintenance range. I do have some food noise 😫 I can drink more wine 😬. But I’m still very full after small amounts of food.

Try it and see. The whole thing is an experiment and I am as happy to go back up as I am to go further down!

Maybe stick it all in a glp1 plotter and see what the levels look like dropping that quickly?

I did a month if each are you increasing your cals or is the suppression so strong you can’t? I’d try to titrate down as you went up, to allow your body to adjust but if your suppression is so high, you can’t eat more then maybe drop

id also not space out doses, I know folks do, but I really don’t like the idea of big peaks and drops of the med in my body and can’t see how that’s optimal.

I tried spacing the doses out over longer, but found I got bad side effects doing that. So I’m titrating down slowly.

Currently on 7.29 and dropping to 6.25 this Sunday. I’m still losing but as PP said, it’s all trial and error and might take me a while to level out.

I dropped from 15mg to 8.5mg currently. I only did 2 weeks on 12.5 but it was still too strong then around 6 weeks on 10mg then a few on 9mg and 7.5 but I was snacking more and only maintaining, where I had 8lbs left to lose to get to 9st so 8.5mg seeks a good balance for me to lose still. I've just lost 5.3lbs this month, literally just adding 1mg a week from 7.5mg. I think over time, insulin sensitivity increases so the doses are too strong at a lower weight. I was fine until i got to bmi 25 and then it was too strong. Im currently bmi 22.8 9st 2.8lbs. It's definitely trial and error. Shotsy is a good app for checking concentration.
