Chequp Wegovy?

Hello

Is anyone using this pharmacy for wegovy, if so do they insist on progress checks beyond entering my weight before a prescription renewal? My BMI is now a little over 25 and I am keen to get it down below 22 for health reasons and maintain.

Are they any checks or regulations that would prevent me from doing this?

WIth thanks

Are you already taking weight loss medication?

Yes. Started 4 September. No checks so far except for monthly weight requested before prescription issued.

Yes, they ask you for a weight update at the end of each month. They likely won’t prescribe to you at your BMI though

Most places will continue to prescribe if your BMI is still over 25, and then also below. The whole point of weight loss injections is to get into the healthy BMI range, so to stop prescribing before you get there would mean not reaching that goal.

I know that Silence, but her BMI is already in the healthy range

Well, it’s not quite in the healthy range if it’s still over 25. And pharmacies do continue to prescribe once you’re below 25. The Op has been on Wegovy since September, so is continuing not starting injections.

Edit to remove double post.

Thank you.
To clarify, my BMI was around 27.5 early September when I started. I have health conditions so my GP was very happy for me to start weight loss injections (although I am paying for them privately).

I’ve lost enough weight to bring my BMI down to 25.7 but I understand 22 and under is particularly favourable for my health condition and hope to continue until I reach this goal and then perhaps maintain with injections at a lower level.

Do you think this is feasible? Thank you.

I don’t know about Chequp, but they should continue to prescribe for a while. There are plenty of pharmacies that would prescribe down to that BMI, if you look at the page on Monj about maintenance providers:
