Wegovy Golden Dose

I'm at the end of my first Weg pen (not a fan, I'm switching back to MJ). I've always used the Golden Dose from MJ pens, and can use a needle to extract the Weg.

I'm absolutely rubbish at converting measurements and I'd really appreciate any help converting the 0.25 mg dose into ml!

Yes, there is - I'm just curious to know what the 'Golden Dose' equates to. There's about 20 ml in my syringe - slightly less.

There can't be 20ml, that's a huge volume of liquid.

I never had a golden dose with Wegovy or Ozempic. They are designed for four doses at the measurement the one is designed for or if you are using lower doses you count the clicks.

What does the pen or the pen box say as to the amount in mg and the dose in ml? You need to know how many ml is a standard dose from that pen in order to do the maths.

My pen won't click anymore, but it can be extracted with a syringe. It's how I've always done MJ.

Maybe you didn't use full doses so had remaining liquid? As far as I know, having checked Internet, there is only enough for 4 doses

Found this on uk wegovy site. Some pens dispense 2ml, some 3ml it looks like

As far as i can tell from the information about Wegovy online (https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/product/13799/smpc) the whole pen for the 0.25mg dose only contains 1.5ml of medication. A single dose is 0.25mg in 0.37ml of medication. So I am not sure how you have 1.8ml in a syringe now, having used the pen for 4 doses.

Nor am I, if that's the case. I definitely used full doses - with the Weg pen, it would be really obvious if you didn't, as it just clicks into the correct dose so easily.

I won't labour it, as I'm switching back to MJ anyway, it was just curiosity. I've just rechecked - there's actually more liquid left still, probably about 0.8 ml, but I won't be using it.

What was the problem with Wegovy? Did it fail to suppress your appetite or keep you feeling full? Or was it the side effects? I am very uncertain whether to change from MJ (cost!) to Wegovy, so would be interested to know.

I have a 1.7mg pen in fridge the box says 3ml in pen and each dose is 0.75ml so 4 of them equates to 3ml. I won't be using it for a few months until my 10mg MJ is used up so won't know about any leftover until then but I'll give it a go! What dose did you move over from and why did you go to the lowest and not a higher dose? My prescriber Oushk allows us to move over to a specific dose that they have agreed on.
