Click counting question

Hi all,

I’m ready to go up a dose, I’m currently on 7.5mg and would like to take 8.75mg of the 10mg pen. Please can someone advise how many clicks this would be please?

I do 51 clicks for 8.5mg, it's 52 for 8.66 or 53 for 8.83 from a 10mg pen

I’m a firm believer that you should only risk deviating from your prescribers instructions if you are able to understand the dosing and not rely on charts produced by anonymous strangers. Also record everything so if needed you can share exactly how much you have taken and when.

8.75/10 *100 is 87.5% of a normal dose.

a normal dose is always 60 clicks from any pen.

60 x 87.5% =52.5 clicks.

it’s always just ratios. I know numbers don’t come easily to everyone and that’s ok, that’s why there are instructions about dosage to follow. But if you want to deviate from the guidance please take some time to write it down and understand. I’ve seen so many posts here and elsewhere of accidental over and under dosing. Checking here is great there are lots of helpful posters but also recheck their maths - my own included - to be sure you know exactly what you are injecting every single time.
