Does it hurt more in certain areas? I’m thinking thigh over tummy for some reason…?

The kitchen?

No, seriously I find thighs are best.

AgnesMcDoo · 19/10/2025 09:52

I have always gone for tummy.

it doesn’t hurt

Mysticmaiden · 19/10/2025 09:54

I inject in tummy. Tried thigh once and had very low suppression that week, back to normal in tummy following week. My friend said it was the same for her, felt no suppression and very hungry when she jabbed in thigh one week recently.

AmberLime · 19/10/2025 10:02

I think it's psychological, but I find better suppression when injecting my thigh.

I recently moved the bonus dose to thigh too. That was the only injection I was doing in the stomach (due to longer injection needle, so wanting more fat) and it always felt less than others.

But, I think it's probably all psychosomatic

I’ve always done stomach. Arms are just a big no, thighs give me a wobbly feeling, I just can’t bring myself to do it, stomach is right there, perfect angle for inserting needle, holding pen steady, and depressing plunger.

SilenceInside · 19/10/2025 10:08

I don't think it would hurt more in certain areas. I have always done my tummy, for some reason the thought about doing it in my thigh gives me the heebie jeebies. But I know there are people who have always done thigh.

The injection doesn't usually hurt in the slightest, in fact I usually don't feel anything at all.

Interesting thanks!

I've been on it for a year too as well as my friend. I was obese bmi 32.4 and prediabetic before i started and i'm now bmi 23.3. It is odd how the site change affected me as you would think it's all systemic in the end. I guess with it working on the gut receptors and injecting near it, maybe it works better as it's closer to the site where the arm or thigh is further away so get some loss with absorption??
You would only know if you tried the sites yourself.

Makes sense that it’s nearer where it’s going I guess!

I’ve done stomach and thighs , think arms may be awkward. I can’t say I felt any different in either to be honest

Gingercar · 19/10/2025 19:38

I started off doing thighs for a month then stomach for a couple of months. I did my arm for the first time this week. None have had any difference in how the MJ worked, but I definitely felt it less in my stomach than I did in my thigh or arm. I didn’t like it in the arm.
