Anyone knows why Shemed reduced their price to £79?

Shemed’s Wegovy price dropped from £89 to £79! I spent £89, honestly, even the little difference makes me a bit envious. But on the bright side, been using it for some time now and have noticed my appetite is a bit more under control. Not saying it’s magic, but it’s definitely helping me stick to healthier habits. Maybe I should stop crying over the £10 discount lol, has this kind of thing happened with anybody else?

Is this an ad?
The price of all of the medications fluctuates widely, and it's worth checking for discounts before you buy.

Shemed is a disgusting company for example they previously promised if you pay extra price at the lower dose you will recoup your money back by the time you are put on the highest dose.
the prices changed and they didn’t stick to that promise
which means my second pen should have cost £99 but I paid £159
they refused to increase my dose twice so again another hold back from getting my money’s worth.
I am now with another company called Chequp so far so good plus there are discount codes.
shemed is the pink tax of injectables.
they know at any time the prices of medications could change so they knew the promise was short lived just another money making company scamming people who don’t know better. Please are running from them.
THATS WHY THEY ARE TRYING TO PRICE DROP.

God this company is shameless! They are constantly spamming reddit with similar "I'm a customer of shemed and they are so caring blah, blah, blah" obvious affliate posts. I'd never trust or use them. And seriously OP, this is as subtle as a brick.

NoTouch · 17/10/2025 15:33

🤣 ffs @tayloranne you are about as subtle as a brick.

This type of posting only results in everyone thinking even less of Shemed and their ethics as a company than they already do.

So if you working on behalf of them shame on you. If you don't work for them you are further damaging their already shoddy reputation on here.

Likely as they switched to Wegovy and it’s cheaper. They reduced their first month price to try and suck more people in.
