Wegovy and nausea

I've just taken my 4th dose of Wegovy. The whole time I had e been taking this lowest dose I've been experiencing some nausea. It isn't bad and I can put up with it if it is temporary but not if it is going to be a permanent feature of the drug

Has anyone experienced nausea with Wegovy that has eased,, even after 4 weeks?

And yes, it has eased as the weeks have gone on.

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne Thank you so much for your reply. It really helped.

How many weeks have you been on Wegovy now? I'm just over 3 weeks but I'm thinking I need to increase the dose as only lost a pound so far and still feeling hungry!

I moved over from Mounjaro.
I'd been on the maximum of MJ so CheqUp let me have the maximum of Wegovy (2.4mg).

I've been on it for a month, and I've started injecting every five days, to get decent suppression. They're about to launch Wegovy 7.2mg, as it's been approved now, and has had better results.

If you're still feeling hungry, do increase your dose.

I've been losing weight since January 2024. I've gone from 20st 2lb down to 11st 12lb.

So my total loss has been 8st 4lb so far.

My loss has very much slowed down now, which is to be expected. I'm losing about 3lb a month now, which is fine. But in my very first week, 21 months ago, I lost 15lb. That's obviously not sustainable 🤣.

Wow, you have done really well!
I'm nearly 12 stone but would like to get down to under 9. ( I'm really short!)
Several co morbidities too ( blood pressure, pre diabetes, cholesterol) so decided I really needed to do something!
