Microdosing on mounjaro

I have a 7.5 pen which I want to microdose. I think I know how to count clicks, which I will use for my next 7.5, but for the final 5th dose, how do I get a 5mg dose out of a 7.5mg pen?

Also, am I right in thinking that to get a 5mg dose out of my 7.5mg pen, I count 40 clicks? Do I do any priming clicks?

You should always prime before each injection, Priming ensures that the needle is on correctly and the pen is working as it should etc

If you have a 7.5mg pen, and you want to do a 7.5mg dose, then you just use the pen normally?

Do you want to do 4 normal doses of 7.5mg from a 7.5mg pen, and then do a 5mg dose from the leftover medication?

You always need to prime each time you attach a new needle, as it's to check the needle is attached correctly.

5mg from a 7.5mg pen is 40 clicks. None of this is "microdosing"!

I can’t click for the 5th dose, I don’t think. I should have been clearer, what dose do I use to get 5mg out of the 7.5mg pen using a syringe? I’ll count clicks for my new pen, just need to get the last dose out of this one.

A full dose from any strength pen is always 0.6ml. 5mg is two thirds of 7.5mg so you need two thirds of 0.6ml which is 0.4ml, to get a 5mg dose from a 7.5mg pen.
