Cocodamol reaction

Has anyone found they've had a different reaction to a medication since taking mj?

I've taken cocodamol previously with no issues but the most recent 2 times I've taken it I've felt really bloody awful like a gastric reaction

I take cocodamol too but haven't reacted to it so far. Been on mj since last year.

Well I've reacted to my progesterone only pill in that it stopped my period but now I get them (but for a day or 2 as opposed to 5 days back then) since being on mj. They did say it affects the pill so I'm not surprised.

I've been on both of them for 15 months and not had a reaction.

Well, codeine can slow the gut down and cause constipation, so layered on top of MJ's action on stomach emptying I can see why that would potentially create an issue for some people.

I've had to stop taking the codeine I've been on for the last few months now I'm on mj . Definitely had an effect on me.

I took Co-Drydamol ( dihydrocodeine and paracetamol) last Weds/Thurs after cataract surgery. The following day I thought I was having a heart attack !

I suffered the worst reflux ( I know now thats what it was) Ive ever had in my life. It scared the divil outta me.

Dr Googe confirmed .......Codeine can slow down the digestive system. A slower-moving gut can increase the pressure on the stomach and the valve leading to the esophagus, which may trigger or worsen reflux.

I'll stick to plain paracetamol in future.
