Need 1 needle for my golden dose. Is Amazon ok to use? Need one tomorrow and struggling to find anywhere.

I bought insulin needles on amazon because loads of people in the reviews said they were using them for their 'golden dose' and were happy with them. I have only used one so far but no problems at all.

I personally would not buy something I was using to inject myself from amazon as they are sold as measuring tools and you have no guarantee they are human quality.

I would order express delivery from a medical supplier and delay my dose 2-3 days or as needed.

Can you buy them from chemists? I wouldn't buy such a thing from Amazon, apart from not knowing the sterility and whatnot they can be a lot more expensive than your wee corner shop chemist. Ask me how I know this.

I buy these off Amazon and never had any issues:

Boots, asda (chemists) and lots of local chemists sell needles. We've bought from all 3 when we've been away and run out. Not sure what size you need but they definitely sell needles for diabetic pens.

I've used syringes I've bought off Amazon. They were individually packed and marked as sterile. I've also used needles I've bought from a pharmacy recommended here and they were packed ten to a bag and also marked as sterile. They looked like the same syringes. I've not had a problem using either of them but I don't know how to tell if one is better than the other.

I think Amazon has a policy against advertising anything that can be used for drugs so you can't put something on there for sale as for use with medication. To get round that they advertise them as suitable for measuring glue and other things.
