The Care Pharmacy

does anyone know whether The Care Pharmacy are ok to use? I have noticed that they are not on the lists on Monj.co.uk
i ordered from them once with no issue but i think they were on the list previously.

i need to increase my dose to 10
from 7.5 but I don’t know if I can do that with any pharmacy or only the one I bought the 7.5 with

and of course I’m trying to keep the price as low as possible

does anyone know why they would not be on the monj list?

They used to be on Monj, don’t know why they’re not anymore. We’ve used them for 6 months and have had no issue with them
at all. They were really good when I went back onto the jabs after a break.

That’s great to hear, thank you. I was sure they were previously on monj because I wouldn’t have used them otherwise. I wonder what it means that they are now not listed there

I’m sure there are loads of places that aren’t on Monj becayse otherwise there would be thousands of entries.

Care Pharmacy aren’t the cheapest but I am more than happy with them.

Thank you. I just didn’t know whether their omission from that list was anything to worry about.

I didn’t realise the list wasn’t exhaustive of the legitimate companies prescribing

You can order a higher dose from a different pharmacy if you want to. They will ask what dose you’re on and should then offer the same dose or one lower/higher.

I would worry about a pharmacy being removed from Monj tbh. Usually it is done for a very specific reason such as inadequate packaging, incorrect information sent out to customers etc. They can’t always give specifics to ensure they are not being defamatory but if they’ve gone from the list, it is for a reason!

Yes, it would be something that I would worry about!

They have a Facebook page and a Circle forum where they are so helpful with advice and suggestions- even to people like myself, who have never purchased from them. I almost ordered from them, but their ordering criteria was so strict (videos/selfies of yourself on the scales etc) that I never did. I really couldn’t imagine that they’d do anything dodgy.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 03/10/2025 00:31

@Gingercar there are numerous pharmacies who provide those types of support services and who have been in trouble with regulating bodies about anything from use of affiliate marketing, referral codes, advertising prescription drugs, failing to record checks regarding the correct storage of the medication, failure to keep the cold chain during delivery etc etc etc.

I am saying I personally would not buy from a pharmacy that Monj had removed from their lists. The amount of work that goes into maintaining the site is phenomenal and I am confident that they only remove (and restate!) pharmacies with good reason. The guy is a goldmine of knowledge and experience with the pharmacies! To say that the list is incomplete is incorrect. If a pharmacy is not there, there’s a reason!

@IReallyNeedThisToWork one of the pharmacies who had regulatory issues is Oushk, who remained listed on Monj I believe aside from when they ran out of stock.

Monj is a business that profits from people buying from certain pharmacies over others. Following a recent thread on Reddit about Medino (a clinician came on and asked questions about inclusion), I would assume that removals may have a commercial reason. That's not a dig at Monj, but the service needs critical appraisal and not blind allegiance.

With all these lists (not just Monj-all of them), assume that reasons for inclusion/removal are at least in some part commercial. Use review sites, the GPhC and other social proof to decide on reliability and safety.
