Reducing MJ & starting Berberine?

Having reached my goal, I’m weaning myself off by increasing my dose frequency and coming down the doses.
I’ve read about Berberine supplements as a possible aid, once off MJ completely.
Has anyone tried this?

As it takes a while to get into the system, I was wondering if I should start to take it at the same time as reducing MJ or wait till I’m off it completely?

You can’t take it with MJ so you’ll need to wait

I also had this question! Thank you

Berberine was quite a hot topic on some on the post mounjaro facebook pages last year, with very mixed responses, some thought it helped them, iirc once Mounjaro was completed out their system, most didn't think it did much.

But you never know, it might help you. Worth a try, but I would also try to keep a door open with a provider to be prescribed Mounjaro (or Wegovy) again if needed.

Sadly did nothing for me

Ok thanks all.
I didn’t know you couldn’t take it with MJ. I’ve been trying to find out about it.

I’ve got another few months of spreading the doses and tapering down. Then will see how I get on.

I take liquid berberine and its great when I have more hungry days with tapering down as it suppresses my appetite especially with carb cravings. I'm on 7.5mg but been taking it from 10mg with no side effects. It works quicker because it's liquid. I just take 0.5ml instead of 1ml for now but sometimes 1ml if I'm hungry and it settles my growling tummy. Obviously I eat but it helps me stick to not snacking and to lower calories. I got it from amazon and have recommended to everyone. Ive not read anywhere that you can't take it with mounjaro, I would say its mild-medium at suppressing appetite, so it's an aid that can be used alongside it.
I was prediabetic when I started and have immediate family with diabetes and have been upto 15mg so maybe that's why I'm tolerating it easily alongside.
