Mounjaro provider - debating switching

I've been with MedExpress since I started taking mounjaro a year ago (today in fact!) and due to the price increases, I'm now considering switching for the first time to try and save some money.

Although I've lost very nearly 4st, my BMI is still high at 27. I need the 7.5mg pen.

I can use the comparison sites to find cheaper suppliers but does anyone know whether some pharmacies will be easier & quicker for me to switch to than others, and would you recommend them or have you had problems with them? I don't want to pay £250ish that I think MedExpress are charging but on the other hand, they've delivered reliably and been easy to use so far. TIA.

I know what you mean. I was with MedExpress but I switched to Oushk because my BMI for maintenance was too low for MedExpress and they didn’t have a maintenance programme. Oushk give you a discount once you’ve completed their onboarding so that will reduce the cost. I haven’t found them as responsive as ME in terms of answering queries but I have received the meds in time - again maybe not as efficiently as ME. I think it’s a personal choice about price vs change and whether or not the savings are enough to justify switching.

I was with MedExpress for the first 6 months, then when they changed their rules around sharing referral codes I went elsewhere. I tried IQ doctor and Dr. Franks, as they had good offers for first orders but wasn’t impressed at all with either of them. This month I ordered from medicine marketplace. Their prices seem to be consistently low with no offer codes or anything which I think makes it simpler. It was so straightforward, they were very responsive, quick to approve my order and send it. I ordered Friday night and received it yesterday, well packaged and still cold. I’ll be sticking with them for the time being.

If you aren’t on the full dose, can you go up to 10, 12.5 or 15 and not take a full dose? That way it will last much longer.

I’m not sure how you would do it if I’m honest but there must be a way.
