When pens run out with no recent prescription then what?

This may sound confusing apologies if so - just before prices went up I bought a bundle from a new pharmacy (that I probably won’t return to) I got 1 x 7.5 and 2x10mg to last me a bit longer and to survive the hikes. I take 5 now but moving up to 7.5 but from a 10pen I’m now at the top of overweight bmi 29.7 and I’m quite a slow loser at approx 1lb a week. I probably have at least 2st to go having lost just shy of 3st since April to get to healthy bmi. I’m worried I won’t get the dose I need when my pens end as I won’t have ordered in a while and I can’t afford to start again. I certainly won’t have lost all the weight I need to get to healthy BMI but will be close so people won’t want to prescribe as a new starter and may not consider me a continuing user.

I dont have the money to be buying larger doses right now to keep on track with moving up prescription doses and I certainly don’t want to have to go back to 2.5mg again and work up.

i’m not really sure what to do. Do I find the money for another pen asap and keep it until it’s needed for prescription continuity or do I just wait until I’ve ran out and hope for the best? Thanks

I would take a look at the list of maintenance pharmacies on Monj.co.uk as they are often more flexible and understanding of bulk buying and having a stockpile. Oushk is one that is often mentioned here. You can explain your situation and see what they say about ordering the next pen.

I think suppliers know that lots of people have stockpiles to cover the next 3 to 6 months. Oushk advised new (and existing customers) people to take a photo showing today’s date, your name /some id, and your prescription boxes showing the prescription label.

I think Pharmulous maybe the same. They also understand people have stockpiles but what evidence of the prescriptions.

Thank you both!
I’ve ordered from oushk a few times so that’s good to know. I honestly hadn’t considered this.

Contact a pharmacy you wish to use I. The future and let them know the situation and see what they say. I think Swift Dr are being very positive about the situation but am sure there are others too.
