After struggling with loosing weight for the entirety of my 30’s (now 37), I’ve decided to take the plunge and try WLI. My BMI is 34.6 and I’m hoping to shift at least 3 stone.
I’ve checked on Monj.co.uk and igovy and I think have decided on Mounjaro over Wegovy. I’m really looking for any real advice on who to go with. Can anyone recommend a specific supplier? Mounjaro or Wegovy?

I’ve looked at Chemist4U, Juniper, My London Pharmacy. There are so many options!

To be honest most pharmacies offer pretty much the same service, and so I’d be mainly guided by price and the recent reviews on TrustPilot. I would also be aware which suppliers are a subscription model and will automatically charge you every 4 weeks unless you cancel. They also usually assume you want the next dose up unless you tell them otherwise. The large discounts that you see on Monj are only for the first order, so be aware of what any subsequent orders will cost without the discount.

You can also change supplier easily if you want to, so don’t think that the one you choose first you have to stick with.

I’ve use Asda, Zava, WePrescribe, Pharmacy2U and Swift with out any issues, if that helps.

As for Wegovy or Mounjaro. Well, Mounjaro is more effective and has fewer side effects. But is now more expensive than Wegovy especially at the higher doses. So it may well be that cost is the deciding factor.

If cost isn’t an issue then Mounjaro is clearly the preferred option as it is considered slightly more effective. Wegovy is also a very good option. Both have side effects however they may be listed as common for Mounjaro but very common for Wegovy,

Wegovy is approximately half the price, so if you’re on a budget, or have a lot of weight to lose and likely to be on the injections for quite a while, you might want to go in that direction.

As long as you stick to a reputable online pharmacy, they are all pretty much the same. I used Simple Online Pharmacy who kept me informed and deliveries were always timely. Additionally, they allow you to order your next two pens at once. By only ordering one pen at a time, it feels like you’re always ordering them and no sooner have you started a pen that you’re thinking of placing an order for your next one. This way, you can order both your starter 2.5mg AND second 5.0mg pen at the same time, (and the same for your 7.5/10 & finally 12.5/15 pens) meaning you can pop them in the fridge and not re-order for two months. I have friends who used both Medexpress and Oushk and they are also satisfied with the service they received.

Whatever you decide, good luck on your weight loss journey and well done for taking some positive action.
