Body image- still thinking I'm really big

I've been on mj since June and I've lost 16kg. Still some kg to go.
I've bought some new clothes for winter.
A few jumpers and I thought I'd be OK with large jumpers, but they are huge.
I'd usually get xl or xxl
I've also bought size 16 trousers again too big. But somehow I can't convince my brain that I'm smaller.
Are you able to see yourself as smaller?

No! My eyes dont see what others see. Ive gone from 106kg 18. To 77kg 12 (actually got a pair of 10 jeans recently - im tall) I always order too big. Ive started going to shops and trying on clothes.

Psychologically I still see a chubby person!

Thanks, I was 104kg now 87kg. Maybe I should actually go to a shop rather than online.

I see myself as much smaller.

I used to get size 24 and I'm getting size 10 now.

I don't have any trouble seeing myself as smaller. I've lost just over 8st now.

@C080889 How tall are you?

I’m starting to but it’s taken a long time! I’m now looking at size 14 things, maybe size 12 tops. I was wearing size 24 plus before I started Mounjaro. I have a pair of lovely size 18 trousers that I used to think were small, and now I look at them and think they’re far too big for me. It’s odd.

I genuinely don’t recognise my reflection when I’m out and about and weirdly I even think my shadow is odd as it’s so much narrower!

I agree with going to the shops and trying a few things on. I do it surprisingly often these days where previously I absolutely never did.

A bit outing but I had a double mastectomy so I instinctly want my stomach to be smaller than my top half. But I have to remember that I have no boobs, so am looking at my ribcage. I know that's not realistic unless vv thin.
I do have definition on my stomach now though.
