“Microdosing GPL”

Recently heard about this from an (American) friend. Has anyone heard about this? Basically for people like me who are just a bit overweight but not obese. I’m a size 12/14 and am tempted.

I do this. I find it working very well. I treated my PCOS with it and surprisingly lost weight without really trying. It definitely rewires your reward pathways, so going out to dinner isn’t quite so fun anymore (I don’t want to drink excessively anymore either lol)

Edited to add this seems like solely an American thing. I buy everything in the states and import it myself (the US has a developed market for compounded GLP-1s), because I know I would never be prescribed it anyway.

I’ve seen this and was intereste too until I realised you couldn’t have a microdose prescribed here.
@RingoJuicehow do you import it?

I think this will become an accessible option l here in the future due to all the other health benefits for things like PCOS as well as managing cravings and keeping low level weight gain in check.

but for now I think it’s only for those who are able to access certain private doctors who will prescribe it off label - or like a PP visit the states and can bring back their own supply.

For those of us who started off obese and are able to get a supplier with a maintenance programme if we order every so often with the same provider and sub-dose with clicks from a 2.5mg pen. That’s my plan when I reach target - to keep the inflammation and desire for alcohol away as those have been huge additional benefits for me as well as the 3 stone loss (1 more to go).

I calculate how much I’ll need over a six-month window and pack it in my suitcase. I’ve done this twice now and nobody cares tbh. I’m not really sure the legalities of this in all honesty. I hope compounding becomes more of a thing worldwide (but they could just as well crack down on this too … )

Lots of subreddits on this, I’d poke around there for answers.

@RingoJuice are you able to keep it cold enough for the journey?

Pack it like it’s insulin.

@RingoJuice but isn’t it really expensive to buy in the US?? And do you have to go to a Dr to prove you have a high BMI to get it prescribed?

Compounders cost around 200USD per month for the starting doses, which I’ve never gone beyond.

However, compounders MIGHT get shut down due to lawsuits and such from
Novo and Eli Lilly so many in the US have moved onto research peptides. This is really a very gray market so I wouldn’t recommend this route tbh but information is out there for sure.

I have just started doing this through one of the clinics in the article. They measure the microdose into needles so you don’t need to work out clicks yourself
