I’ve been on MJ since November 24 and have lost 4 stone. One of the biggest changes for me, like others, has been cessation of relentless food noise.
I’m finding recently that I’m becoming more interested in cooking/baking with a focus on getting in my protein/fibre and staying in a calorie deficit.
Prior to this, my food noise and decades of feast or famine attitude to dieting meant cooking/baking was loaded with too much emotion and control issues.
Has anyone else noticed this?
I’m determined to build good habits around food for long term benefits and have bought Emily English’s book So Good after following her on IG - and making a delicious tuna salad and breakfast oat & apple cake.
I’m never going to be an amazing cook but feeling like I can be interested in food without everything the food noise brought with it is such a novelty.
