Hi, I was due to collect a parcel today from the post office containing my mounjaro order however they closed before I could get there and are not open now until Monday morning! It was sent yesterday using the before 1pm 24 hour service and was scanned into the tracking at around 6.30pm yesterday. Is it all going to be ruined and unusable by Monday morning when the post office opens? It was a bundle from zava worth nearly £350 honestly I could cry 😢

The parcels have a cold pack which maintain temperature upto 72 hours so by Monday evening would be fine.

Post offices usually do close early on a weekend, some don't open at all.
Might be best to have future deliveries for home and put a safe place or neighbour option for when you are out or check opening times of post offices.

Honestly it will be fine. This has happened to so many people over the past year or so and the vast majority just pop it in the fridge and use as normal. I was really stressed out the first time I had it be arrive not quite cold enough but I spent a while reading up on it and decided to use it. It worked just the same

My last order was sent on the Friday and scanned by royal mail on Saturday morning but not delivered until Monday. The ice packs were defrosted but I just put it in the fridge.

That's reassuring hopefully it'll be OK and I can pick it up first thing Monday morning and get it in the fridge. I normally order via asda and pick up from Asda pharmacy but I had ordered these direct from zava this time and we are always out weekends with the kids activitys so I changed it to be sent to the post office which should have bee open until 2.30pm bit was shut at 1.50pm when I got there!

I choose DPD with my provider and they drop off even Sundays. It will be fine. I once had a delivery missed Friday and royal mail (previous prescriber) didn't drop off until Tuesday, they threw it over my gate and it was waiting until the evening when I got in from work! Lucky it was a cold few days so it was fine.
The cold pack is a gel not ice so don't worry if it is melted and feels soft!

Lilly have a tool for pharmacies that allows you to enter how long the unopened medication has been out of the fridge and at what temperature. It then tells you if it is still ok to put back in the fridge and issue to a patient as if nothing had happened.
I tried 3 days at 25 degC and it says it is fine to issue as normal. I therefore wouldn’t personally worry if I was in your position.

I found deliveries really stressful for the same reason. Our sorting office is only open during very limited hours, mostly whilst I’m at work. So I now order from a large pharmacy chain so that I can go in and collect the WLI at a time to suit my schedule. It takes away all the stress.
