Asda, ZAVA - is anyone else having problems getting their order?

Hi everyone….so long rant.

so I’ve been on my weight loss journey for a year. I’ve managed to lose just over 6 stone and feel like I’ve got my life back at last.

I placed an order for my 10mg pen on 13th August, before the price increase news was revealed. I’d just returned from holiday, so completely forgot that I only had one dose left.

I put my order in, and then they wanted more info from me, … photo of my weight on the scales and photos of me, to check my BMI which I sent the same day….no problem.

it took them a well over a week to review, and I got a message to say my pen was ready to collect on Saturday 22nd. 10 days from my last injection…but I could cope with that.

The same day I received another message saying the pharmacy hasn’t got stock but they would post it, if I confirm my address…which I did….

no notification that it was posted was received.
received another message the following Wednesday saying it was to be REVIEWED ( again) on 25th/26th and dispensed by my pharmacy on 28th…. Still nothing.

I've contacted the pharmacy… they have nothing, now I’m only getting cut and paste replies to my messages …I’m feeling a little fraught now and as their phone isn’t accepting calls either, I really don’t know what to do as it’s 3 weeks since my last injection tomorrow and these bloody food noises have a megaphone.

Has anyone had similar…what did you do?… and did you eventually get your pen ????

I’m with Asda and ordered on 15th August, and got within a week. But it was 5mg. I think there were stock issues with higher doses.

Not sure what to suggest unless you can order from another pharmacy (appreciate not everyone can, if you have credit card) and then try and get refund from Asda.

I get mine direct from Zava. Ordered on the 14th when the price rise was announced and delivered on the Saturday. Have placed another order since then that was delivered yesterday. My friend has also placed two orders and received both of them.

Katkins17 · 02/09/2025 08:17

Fuck me….i appreciate your concern ….but to link me being fed up I can’t get my injections when they’ve taken my money, to me having dementia is a hell of a bloody stretch !!!

I always found them slow but nothing like that. Order to collection was usually a week or just over which means deciding on the dose after 2 injections only. Still I stayed with them because I like the convenience of collecting rather than having to plan around delivery slots. Hope you get it sorted OP.

ShuriPouri · 02/09/2025 08:42

I ordered my 5mg on the 20th and still nothing, money returned to my bank account. I cancelled yesterday because I have still heard nothing.

I used a Juniper code and got £75 off my order so the price was a bit higher but not too bad. I got my 7.5 mg pen three days later. You can find their discounts on the munj compare site or ask me. or I can give you one. 😍
I think think also Numan have £100 off in the pens if you look at the discount page... I am considering that for my next pen. My friend ordered on a Monday and got her pen on the thursday.

I preffered this too, but seriously they are now one of the most expensive options, and frustratingly late with responses.

There is a multi named new poster trolling WLI board with links to supposed Dementia info although christ knows what the link may actually be if you click on it.
Reported.

That’s interesting thank you. Not looked at the prices yet as will be trying W. I agree that their service level definitely doesn’t warrant higher prices. Will have a look for prices. Thanks for the heads up.

I read that and went back to your post and wondered if I had missed something. Thats quite some leap!

Is it worth trying a different supplier? Perhaps ask people who is currently delivering fast or I know some pharmacies can possibly deal with it in person, might be worth looking at an alternative if you are struggling to reach them.

I did an online order for a 5mg pen from Zava on 19th Aug. Think I'm classified as an "existing customer" as I'd ordered a pen from them once previously (back in June). It was eventually approved on 30th Aug (no other info needed) and it should be arriving today. So they seem to be getting through the backlog... But bear in mind I'm an existing customer and only requesting a small dose.

WhiteRose9791 · 02/09/2025 11:31

This is for 7.5mg. Existing customer...

We’re sorry to let you know that your order, placed on the 28th of August, is taking longer than you were originally told.

We can confirm the following timings for your order:

Clinical review: One of our doctors is now expected to review your order between the 12th and 15th of September.

Pharmacy dispensing: If clinically approved, our pharmacy will be dispensing your order between the 15th and 16th of September.

Delivery: If clinically approved, your order is expected to be delivered between the 17th and 18th of September.

Worriedmrs · 02/09/2025 16:31

I ordered 7.5 mg on August 15th and it was approved on 27th. However, pharmacy collect messaged me to say they were out of stock but have marked my order as pending and I will receive it once they have the stock. They collected money from my account on 27th but have messaged that if I don’t want to wait they can cancel and refund me. I am still waiting for my order. It is pharmacy pick up.

Darlinghag · 02/09/2025 16:39

I ordered on the 15th and it didn’t arrive til the 30th!

I had read somewhere on the site that some folks having issues with pharmacy delivery may need to switch to home delivery, I can’t remember where!

Have you phoned the central number? Its apparently a long hold time but you might have more success?

Clair45 · 02/09/2025 17:34

I'm an Asda customer and took me nearly 3 weeks to get my pen (5mg).
It's really frustrating as I was on 10mg then contacted them to say I had an operation coming up and had been asked to stay off the pen for 2 weeks prior and 1 week after and Asda told me I needed to go back to 2.5. which I have now done and working my way back up ... Now with all this delay in stock they've told a friend she's fine to take her dose 3 weeks later 🫣! It's like now the stock levels have caused issues they are changing rules.... The cut and paste advice is dreadful.
Good luck getting your supply and hope you're ok taking your next dose when you do eventually get it

Stickystickystick · 02/09/2025 17:40

I was an existing customer with them and ordered 5mg on the 18th. On the 27th, with no explanation at all, they cancelled my order and I'm still waiting for a refund. They are impossible to get hold of. The only messages I get from them are to tell me about delays to orders and delay times in answering messages. Will never use them again

Katkins17 · 02/09/2025 22:19

Thanks ladies.

I’ve been on it a year so an existing customer who … according to their website…. Should be a priority.

however, I put a complaint on trustpilot and low and behold I was contacted with an apology to be told that it will be dispatched tomorrow.

we’ll see if that actually happens as I’ve been promised this twice before.

I tried to cancel my order. I actually went in and cancelled the order on Friday, and then again yesterday. Today, I received a message. "Congratulations, your order has gone through." 🤔 5mg pen

I'm a bit miffed, to be honest, but to be fair, it's at the old price, so I'll take it. However, I ordered and got a 7.5 from Juniper for not much more - last friday... after my discount was applied.

Starfish1021 · 03/09/2025 09:21

I hope your pen turns up. I ordered from Asda on the day I got the email for new prices, and I'm facing a really long delay. I'm dreading having the food noise as I'm going to have 8 days without. I've tried a different supplier and if it turns up I'll cancel so annoying all round.
