If anyone has bought from the Slimming Clinic in the last 6 months then you've probably had a nightmare getting your medication, getting an explanation as to why your medication hasn't been delivered or getting a refund. I've found out from someone who used to work there what the hell has been going on.
The company was taking people's money but couldn't fulfil the orders, so people started raising disputes with their banks. Because there were so many disputes raised, the payments company Stripe refused to release any money to them which is what they do to stop scam companies from robbing people.
Despite this, the company continued to take people's money knowing full well they couldn't fulfil the orders because the money people were paying wasn't coming through to them. So that's why any of you reading this who have had problems with them have waited months to get your medications. They also made most of the customer service staff redundant, which is why nobody's messages/calls were getting responses. On top of that, they haven't paid their staff for months, so most of those who weren't made redundant left the company.
They've now put the old holding company into administration and opened another holding company with the same people running it.
The whole thing is a complete mess. Finally, because some people have been waiting more than 120 days they can't get refunds through their banks, so if you are waiting for a refund, go through your bank if you're under the 120 day threshold. I just wanted to post this so people understand what the hell has been going on.
It's an utter shambles
