Mounjaro jitters?

Has anyone else found that MJ is making them jittery? I was on 2.5 with no ill effects. Went up to 5 - big, burpy, diarrhoea-y mistake. Have been on 3.75 for the past couple of weeks and am feeling a bit better physically - just low-level nausea and a bit gassy - but am really twitchy. Is this a Thing? I realise it may have nothing to do with MJ!

I feel restless and twitchy

Have you felt that way on all doses, @hhtddbkoygv ?

I think it got worse as I increased but I only linked the two once reading your thread. I've just switched to wegovy

How are you feeling now?

YourNeedyLurker · 07/09/2025 06:20

I had really twitchy restless legs the first month or so, it stopped.

How are you finding WG compared to MJ?
I’ve got enough MJ to last me 15 weeks then I don’t know whether to stay on it or move over to WG?

It's funny, because yes, I do feel restless and jittery, but then I started feeling like that as soon as I started to consider taking MJ, not just since the actual jabs themselves. So feel it may well be psychological with me!

Are you eating enough? This could be related to your blood sugars

How is your thyroid? I have under active thyroid but started getting a bit jittery on MJ. Turned out my thyroid meds were now too strong after I'd lost weight so I had then reduced and feel less jittery now

Oh, that’s a good thought. I should probably have my thyroid checked, though I’m not sure I’ve lost enough weight yet to affect the thyroxine.
