Asda pharmacy cancelled my order

i am so furious with what has just happened. I have been with Asda pharmacy for over 2 months. Put in a new order for 5mg on 18th August. I have had countless messages stating there have been delays but a pen has been set aside for me at the price I paid at the time. Just 2 hours ago I got a message to say there has been a further delay with review but reassuring me it was still coming and now just had a cancellation message for the order. They have been messaging me reassuring me since I ordered it and have now left me high and dry: I am now at a bmi of 29 so imagine this is going to make it hard for me to get it with a new supplier. I could cry.

Just show a new supplier proof of your previous prescription and you will be fine to move elsewhere

Nowhere has any stock though so really wish they had informed me sooner and now I will have to pay a lot more for it as they have left it so long to cancel.

The order being cancelled is more likely to be due to supply issues ( www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/clyr8ynx41yo ) for the current order, rather than Asda cutting you off entirely. Contact them and see.

They should not lie about the fact they have stock put aside for your order.

Yes that's shit, and I would be telling them so, give them a bad review.
I suspect this will be happening to a lot of people waiting on orders, meanwhile they've taken people's money and I reckon they'll be long winded about refunding, have you got your money back yet op?

They are actually ridiculous atm. I ordered 2.5mg from them in 15/08 and it was only approved yesterday. Today I get an email saying it’s been delayed and they will approved by a doctor today or tomorrow. I have the email form yesterday saying it’s been approved and it’s showing on my account as approved but now it needs to go for approval? Absolutely bonkers. I’m ok to wait as I have enough for now but I just can’t make sense of how they are treating customers and I won’t be using them again.

Pharmacy2u had 7.5 in stock.

I ordered with Asda on the 20th and got the same reassuring messages but not had a cancellation message. Think they just haven’t got around to me yet! I also ordered a 5mg pen.

yeah I put in a request on the 20th for a 5mg pen and waiting. I guess they will just cancel, although why not just tell us that they are cancelling, rather than make us wait all this time. My notice says that I will hear from they by the 5th of September, but not to worry they have my pen in stock...

makes me think it is a delaying tactic to hold my money...

I expect they'll let you order again (but at the new price, of course!)
Horrible way to treat customers.
I ordered from Boots the day before news of the price rises hit - went to pick up today and of course there's no stock. Apparently I'll get a text when it comes into stock - so I suppose at least they haven't cancelled on me.
I'm also meant to be getting one by post that I panic-ordered a few days later - but I'll believe that when I see it.

I'm still waiting for my pen from them too. I'm annoyed they've taken my money and I don't know what's going on. There really hard to get hold of taking days to respond to messages at the best of times and I tried phoning but they've closed the phone lines! Really poor service.

I've also seen they put their prices up today the 7.5mg has gone from £148 to £248.

Well I think it looks like the way it will go is that they'll cancel, let you order another pen at the higher price of course, and I bet they make it nigh on impossible to get your money back if you decide to cancel on them, Piss poor from all of them, including the ones that I would have thought wouldn't play these games.
They've held us all to ransom haven't they? Took our money knowing full well what a shit show would ensue.
