Needle and syringe location, and to air or not?

Preparing to obtain the golden dose.

Do you insert the syringe needle in the centre of the red or to the side?

Do I need to add air first or just pull hard?

Anything else I should consider?

Aim for the centre of the red.
do not inject air in first.
just start to pull back the syringe’s plunger. You will feel resistance. The technique is to pull back, relax, pull back, relax.
take out more than you need, if you can.
then purge out the air bubble and any excess until you get the amount you want.

I have a question if that's ok?!

I have a 5mg pen, I broke the thread for the 5th dose but there's some liquid still left. I'm not sure if I should discard or use a syringe to inject it... It has filled a .05ml size syringe full but I don't know how much that equates to from the 5mg?!

@Mich57 can you clarify what size syringe you have? I don't think that 0.05ml can be correct? Did you mean a 0.5ml syringe? A full dose from any strength pen is always 0.6ml. If you have 0.5ml from a 5mg pen, then you have 5/6ths of a full dose, so you have 5/6ths of 5mg which is 4.17mg.

I've sorted it 0.6ml is a full injection from the pen 😊
