Hello everyone! I completely missed the other thread was full (haven't been too well this week) so I've started this one and will tag as many people as I can think of from recent pages. Do tag anyone else you think of that might miss the new thread!

I hope everyone is okay. It's been unsettling times hasn't it with all the news about the price increases and very little from Shemed as to what they are planning. I am hopeful that of all people we will be shielded the most due to being on the Study (fingers crossed).

I weighed in this morning and took second dose of the 10mg. I seemed to put on this morning but if I take the weight I've been most of this week...

I am exactly half way to my target! And I've lost 25% of my bodyweight!

10mg - so far no burps or nausea but I am wondering if this extreme tiredness is in part due to the drug. Was eating just as I was before the last couple of days but today don't want to eat so who knows!

I'll read up and tag people if I can.

Weigh in day and 2.8lb loss. 7st 5.8lb total loss. Another 2.8lb and I’ll be in the 13’s 😳 Probably not this week however, although there’s not much Christmas food in the house I can actually eat with these gallstones!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I did jab 51 today. I'm not going to count today's weight as I suspect water weight after yesterday 😂!

Ive been good(ish) over Christmas but there is too much lush food in the house!

I can't believe it's been a year, I've loved our threads for the companionship and encouragement 💖

Hope everyone is having a good festive week! This morning I am just two pounds off 4 stone lost, and my BMI is 25.6 so I'm really close to the healthy weight bracket now. My anniversary is mid Jan and I'll stay on it probably until at least summer, need to work out what to do really!

Shemed sent an email saying that once the study has finished we get wegovy at a fixed price £129. Not bad, definitely saves looking around for deals.

@kittykarate That's fab and sounds a good price 😊. I'm still paying for mounjaro but being a bit naughty and making it last a bit longer so trying to justify it. 😳

Ah , I’ve started a thread about this and forgot that it was already likely to be discussed on here !
i feel out of touch with pricing as I have been on the study but I switched to wegovy for costs and not sure it’s working for me . I’ve never had drastic results with Mounjaro but am down about 20 pounds - after regaining some due to starting wegovy .
in an ideal world I’d go back to Mounjaro but it may not be affordable . I keep seeing offers for under £100 for wegovy (I think !) so wasn’t sure about whether to stick with them. I hate the check in calls but they do keep me more accountable .

I was looking on https://igovy.co.uk/wegovy-price-list-uk/ and how good a deal it is does depend on your dosage - I'm on 1mg so its not a spectacular saving, but if you're on a higher dose it's pretty good. Plus, I've never had any delivery problems or faff so I'm willing to stick with them for the convenience.

Did you see in the papers that Wegovy in pill form has been licensed in the USA?

I’ve had the SheMed email and debating what to do. I finished my pen yesterday and they’ve upped me again to 2.4 from next week - not sure why as I didn’t ask for it, but there you go! Can’t decide if I’m going to move providers and go back to MJ.

Well done on surviving Christmas though, everyone! I’ve eaten far less than usual without really being bothered which is good! My only challenge currently is a broken arm 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks and maybe I should carry on then as I need to go up a dose again and imagine it will be like Mounjaro and I’ll need the higher doses before I get much effect .
im not loving wegovy but recently missed a dose and regained four pounds so scared to come off . There was a lot going on so obviously more to it than missing one dose but I think im someone who needs to be on weight loss medication longer term .

Merry Christmas everyone just popping on to say first day of being off mj (I've actually missed a dose before due to holiday and then usually made up for it later). I'm waiting for my ADHD medication to arrive (hopefully in the next couple of days) and then I will start on those. @FatsiaJaponicaInTheGardenthey put me on Elvanse 30mg for 15 days then 50mg. I'm hoping it helps me maintain without mj. They didn't want me to stay on it... I didn't like the prescriber much. She didn't turn her camera on and I didn't really get much from her...
I started on 8th January so ended up doing 50 jabs in the end but I've been maintaining since the end of May. I'm glad I took the time to maintain and hopefully it will stand me in good stead although I've been putting weight in the last couple of weeks (not surprising given it's December)

Post Christmas weigh in and I’ve managed a small 0.9lb loss, despite having wine on Christmas Day (which definitely DOES trigger this stupid gallbladder! Suffered for 3 days afterwards - probably why I lost a bit!). Current weight 14st 1.8lb, total loss 7st 6.7lb. So bloody close to the 13’s and 7.5st. Next week!

My betwixtmas weigh in was an unexpected success - 1.4kg off. Don't expect it to stay that way.

I've just had an email saying my 12 month blood test is in the post.

OMG just jumped on the scales and I’ve seen a 13!!! 13st 13.8lb, but I’m over the moon. Probably won’t be there by official weigh day next week, but it’s made my week just seeing it there today 😀

I’m still on the MJ but due to winter viruses and missed dose I moved my 9mg to a few 5mg micro dose every 5days.
its meant a truely lovely break from side effects and enjoyment of Christmas food without going wild!

I have been using Numan and like you @JBL I threaten to leave and then almost go through with it until they offer me £183 for 10mg.
@FatsiaJaponicaInTheGardenI was making pens last 5-6doses so it has been a little more economical.

Not weighed over Christmas break as know different foods -!: likely water retention plus a delayed period last 2 weeks likely means a gain.
i am ready to face it tomorrow and get back on track.

Morning all! Small loss today, but now definitely in the 13’s! 13st 13.2lb, which puts me at BMI 29.6, so officially overweight instead of obese!

Signed up with Pharmulous the other day, as I thought it was wise to switch whilst I was still technically BMI 30 or above, and I want somewhere I can stay long term for maintenance, plus their prices are pretty decent.

Still injecting 8mg from a 10mg pen at the minute, so getting 5 doses, and have a bit of a backlog of pens in the fridge, so going to start ordering lower dose pens in preparation for hitting target.

Not actually sure what target is at the minute, as it’s such a long time since I’ve been a healthy weight, but I’ve got 12st in my head, as I know I used to be a size 12/14 at that weight pre-child. May aim for slightly lower though so it gives me a bit of wiggle room!

Has anybody else been sent a refill reminder earlier than expected? I’ve got 2 doses left so wouldn’t normally get the request till after my next jab.

I got an early refill reminder before Christmas, but nothing since.

Post Christmas weigh in - since the 23 December I've lost 1.1kg - though there was a bounce up of 300g since last week, I'm counting it as a win!

@JBJ how are pharmaclous? Good deals?
I too on 10mg, was taking 9mg pre Christmas and getting 5 doses.
Also have a fridge stash still
but no where near target- like need to loose at least 15kg still.

over Christmas following being ill I moved to 5mg and did every 5 days…. This allowed Christmas enjoyment but some bad habits crept in.
i need to move back up doses again but worried about side effects. Did 5mg yesterday think will do 7.5 next. Interesting tracking the slow decrease in Shotsy and definitely noticed increased hunger and food noise.
nit got back in scales yet. I will this weekend and bad food all out the house now thank goodness.

Pharmulous seem pretty competitive on prices - £214 for 7.5mg then drops to £164 for 5mg. I’ve ordered 7.5mg for my first pen, but I’ve got 4 10mg pens in the fridge currently, so will be quite a while before I need to use the new pen! Hoping I’ll be at or near target by the time I’ve worked through my stash.

I have a Numen discounted £180 10mg pen coming next week. Wondering if I will get any more discounts 🤷‍♀️

Its tricky as don’t want to space out ordering too far apart incase they say you can’t have same dose. But like you I have 3-4 pens in stock and spreading them every 5 weeks

@Mazd323 Yes! I was rather surprised by it as I think I have 2 doses left in my current pen. Still, I'll take it.

Pondering what to do post my She-Med year. Wegovy is okay I suppose but I worry about lowering my dose when I get to goal and putting weight on. It just doesn't hit like Mounjaro does.

The lowest I managed to get Numan to was £199! Yeah, I’m the same with not wanting to go too long between orders

I had my refill email early, have completed it and been charged at the trial price, which I didn’t expect! I thought my next one would be the post trial price. Bonus!! 😁🤣
