What has happened with my pen and my injection just now?

I'm on Ozempic, it's a 0.25 pen, I have had two doses out of it and just injected the third. I have made sure each time that I clicked it round to the 2.5 dosage so I have not knowingly taken more than that dose, but just now I looked at the pen after I had taken the third dose and it is completely empty...there is no fluid left in it at all. So it must have injected more than the dose?
I don't know if this has been over all the injections or if today I've had a big dose.
Not sure what to expect now if I have injected more than intended
Any thoughts please

Sorry I mean it was clicked round to the 0.25 dose not 2.5

Contact your prescriber and ask them would be my advice. If it’s Ozempic, is it prescribed by the NHS for diabetes?

Are you sure you’ve only taken two from it, sounds like it was the 4th,

No it's not for diabetes, the pen was bought when Ozempic was available for weight loss (and is still in date and has been stored in a fridge)

I don't think so, but that does sound logical

I would agree that you may well have taken 4 doses rather than 2… so is it possible that the pen has been open for several months, rather than unused? I don’t know what the in-use expiry is for Ozempic but for Mounjaro it’s 30 days, so presumably similar to that?

Is the plunger all the way along to the end of the pen, in the way that it would be after 4 doses?

Pen was unopened during storage. Box was still sealed.
Yes the plunger is all the way to the end

Ok I'm going with the most logical suggestion that today's dose was my fourth, not my third.
Thanks all

Hopefully you’ve just miscounted and you thought you were doing your 3rd injection but you were actually doing your 4th. Or, is it possible that you’ve injected twice today, thinking you hadn’t done it yet?

I use an app and a spreadsheet to track my injections. You can get free versions of Shotsy or DoseDiary that you can use.

Definitely not injected twice today.
I think it must have been the fourth dose, not the third. I must be losing track of the weeks
