Anyone know when oushk will have stock? I’ve been with them 6 months, managed to order a 2.5mg with them (I’m on 5mg). And then another 2.5mg from another provider! That’s it! Buys me a month..

looked at voy, for new customers they will only give the ozempic option.

September most likely

Have you tried Bolt Pharmacy? I know a few people who have had orders from them

Littlelambseativy · 22/08/2025 20:50

I’m a tiny bit shocked by people who are pleasantly surprised by these prices, I think they’re horrifying Blush

Agreed! Especially on the higher doses. I paid £160 for my last 10mg with Bolt and now it's £268. I was paying about £200 for 15mg and I thought that was pricey as I knew if I discount hopped I could get it cheaper.

For me it’s because I was anticipating £400+ for everyone. I still have a lot to lose and that would’ve been impossible!

Same, I was hoping to be able to stay on for another 6 months for maintenance but if these are the prices and discounts aren’t available like before then I’ll probably do until Dec-Jan and come off because whilst we can afford them I can’t justify the extra in my own head.

I’ve got 14 weeks of 10mg in the fridge or on the way with my last pen. I’ll probably do 10’s for the next 4 weeks and finish that pen and then do 7.5/5mg on the next two and stretch them out a bit longer for maintenance and see how I get on. They’re worse for the higher doses than I expected.

guestusername · 22/08/2025 21:03

I put a 2.5/5/7.5mg bundle order in with chemist 4 u on Friday last week and I’m still at processing consultation 😒

As @FlappyFish says - it’s time to get a hobby. I’m not even going to look at the daily mail “Fat Jabbers Meltdown” (laugh or cry?). Though I’m it would provide some macabre entertainment.

If my pharmacist actually sends out my 2 pens (scattergun approach) I’ll have enough for maintenance well into 2026, maybe even into eternity.

I’ll also have at least £1000 worth of medication in my fridge, which freaks me out a bit. I had to cover debits with American Express instalment plan. Of course I’m also now thinking - if there was a power failure, what then my friend, what then?

I think modern life is driving us all a bit bonkers at times like this. Maybe a field and a shawl and a border collie far away from civilisation, at my age (63), would be preferable.

You could keep one of the icepacks in the freezer and one of the woolpack packing bags int he cupboard and use that as temporary storage if the fridge breaks down?

I have been worrying more about freezing pens in the fridge as well, it all seems a bit more of a worry at the moment!

Why does Oushk have a Circle group as well as their Oushkers one? Is it some kind of special privilege or something?!

I’m off on holiday next weekend and when I ship my plants off to my aunt for watering, I’m also sending my mounjaro up 🤣

The pendemic. You have to be in it to win it! Or comprehend it ….

But I’m kinda over it now. Im sure others are “coming down” now. Where’s the chill out room, anyone? I didn’t even react to Covid like this.

I think I have gone through all the stages of grief on my emotions since last Thursday.
Denial.
Anger.
Barging ( mad ordering )
Depression
Acceptance
Then moving onto joy at delivery......

Honestly what a shit show. I want to bunker down and pop my head out in September. I'm also thinking constantly that I shouldn't be eating at all and maximise my non desire to eat.

Back to thinking about food while having zero desire for food.

Me too. Although what I’ve learned since this price increase has been announced is that I haven’t actually addressed my habits. I’ve simply used it as an appetite suppressant. I’m covered until the end of October but I’m going to spend the next two months doing my best to try and come off them. I can afford the prices but I don’t want to pay them. I’m only about 10lb to goal now but I have been for ages. I’m going to make a concerted effort and reassess if I can’t keep the weight off.

Littlelambseativy · 22/08/2025 21:19

Although absolutely no judgement for those that are relieved, just giving a slightly different point of view!

FoxRedPuppy · 22/08/2025 21:19

For me I’m on 5mg (and only 3.75) and I have just over a stone to go. So I likely only have an extra £50 a month to pay which I can afford. If I have to go up, then I might have to reassess.

I was hoping to maintain on some form, but again will cross that bridge when it comes to it.

No judgement here either! I’m in a very lucky position to be able to keep going, but I think I’d have to either way!

I am very similar, I know I haven’t really been addressing my habits but also food sensitivities from autism and hormonal issues have also added to my weight issues and MJ has sorted all of that out. I really wanted to stay on a low maintenance level until they release the pill form that’s coming and then hopefully move over to that or benefit from cheaper meds as competition in the market will make it more
likely to be reduced. But I can’t justify the cost per month so unless I can find a maintenance plan that lets me order every other month or something I’ll have to come off. MJ has changed my life and released me from a prison made of body hatred and food issues.

I’m going to try over the next 2-3 months to really look at my diet and change some habits and hope it sticks. But it’s all a bit shit.

So sorry you are in this position. I’m on a very long waiting list for adhd diagnosis and I have found that MJ has quietened all the noise in my head. Not just food noise. I feel calmer and more together than I ever have.

Orangesandlemons77 · 22/08/2025 21:36

Sorry to be negative but about the pill- I was reading it is likely to be the same cost as Mj injections, something about the high amounts of medication needed for the pills, I wonder if the lowest cost going forward might be wegovy / semaglutide which has been around a long time and soon off patent. Not sure though.

I won’t be moving to wegovy, the things I’ve heard about side effects don’t make it worth it to me. And it’s not as effective either nor that much cheaper.

I’m also waiting for an ADHD assessment, 15 months so far waiting. My autism assessment was a lot quicker. MJ has definitely helped quiten the noise and definitely made the impulsiveness much less dominant too.

Orangesandlemons77 · 22/08/2025 21:39

I was meaning about the cost in the future coming off patent really. There might be other options as well.

MynameisJune · 22/08/2025 21:40

Retatrutide is within the next 18 months, and the pill form. So market competition will exist where none really does then. I’m hoping that will improve prices to keep people interested.

I thought the patent was valid until 2031/32 for wegovy and 2036 for mounjaro so not really short term solutions. Wegovy 7.2 might help with competition if it’s cheaper than MJ.
