@CoverMeInMarmalade they have said in the Circle group that the £15/£20 discounts are pretty much permanent like before.

Looking at the other providers that have given prices so far it looks like they are pitched a bit higher than the mid they were before.

They did imply in an impromptu 15 minute live that they will try to reduce, didn't sound like they are doing the Eli Lilly rebate scheme yet (as it is in arrears and don't think they have the cash flow to support it), perhaps that is something that might come in time if they can negotiate with Eli Lilly or their wholesalers different payment terms to buffer the delay in the rebate.

They are doing another live tomorrow at 6pm to answer any questions.

Correction - they are doing the rebate scheme and prices include it already. I joined late and misheard. Sorry 😳

So I am with Oushk in maintenance. Tried to order a few times over the last few days, including this morning and it said no stock. Just placed an order for 7.5mg, so I do not believe for a second that there was no stock this morning. I did try the maintenance discount code I have and it still worked.

They sold out all their stock when the price hikes were announced as they allowed people to buy multiple pens and there are no news on when new stock will be dispatched due to the price changes etc

PresidentBarklett · 26/08/2025 21:49

I think they hit their quotas a few days ago and now the only way they can order any more in, to restart orders, is by paying the higher list prices.

ReluctantCustomer · 26/08/2025 22:01

The pharmacies are all in a cut-throat game right now, it's a matter of who will blink first. I wonder how the fans will deal with their beloved heroine charging them through the nose.

butterfly0404 · 26/08/2025 22:09

Has anyone ordered from SheMed ? I am approaching maintenance and thought I'd try them but having issues with their onboarding process via the app. I think its my camera that won't connect as its a live ID / weight verification. There's also a blood test to do, all seems a massive faff so I might ask for a refund if I can't get verified.

I don't think they accept people who have been on it for a while

They took my money , I'd say that was acceptance ;-)

DareDevil223 · 26/08/2025 22:50

Am I missing something? Lots of criticism of Ouskh but looking at the list of prices that was posted, they aren't the most expensive and the prices don't seem wildly out of line.

Cloud Pharmacy took my money, and they approved it…then refused it a day later .
Some are not trustworthy in my opinion.
No reason given either and i have been on it for nearly 4 months.
Sent photos and proof of prescription ,still refused

Maybe they have changed.

Though I have had money taken then refunded a week later by a couple of providers

The Oushk entry on the list of prices is wrong- they’ve taken a £15 discount off that was already built in. Add £15 to each dose for the actual discounted price.

I’m worried that we’re all about to be shoved into an endless cycle of obesity-to-slimness because even if you’re willing to pay the silly prices to stay at a healthy weight, the panic about misuse has become so loud we’d rather force cycles of “need” rather than just let anyone pay to stick at a healthy weight.

Edited

It’s a sobering thought isn’t it. I’m still hoping there will be a way to afford and remain on a low dose (MJ or similar WL medication) to be able to maintain a healthy weight. At least long enough for the ‘set point’ to re-set. I thought this was around two years but looks like can be longer -

“Studies have shown that it can take anywhere from 1 year to 6 years for your body to adjust to a new weight range and establish a new set point. During this time, it's important to focus on sustainable weight loss methods that promote healthy habits and long-term success.”

They are talking about this report on LBC right now- I wonder how it’ll impact those of us with orders in which haven’t been fulfilled?

www.lbc.co.uk/article/temporarily-halt-uk-mounjaro-orders-5HjdBTp_2/

SwitchingUpWLI · 27/08/2025 00:22

Just read it and yes am wondering the same @AllRevvedUpWithNoPlaceToGo whether it will mean approved orders won’t be sent or just new orders frozen from now

RenegadeKeeblerElf · 27/08/2025 06:33

I think it means that pharmacies can sell whatever stock they have in hand at whatever price they like but can't get any new stock at the old prices from their own suppliers. So they basically have three choices - only take orders for the stock they have in hand, take orders at the old price but accept they will take the hit because they will need to pay the new price for the stock, or take orders at the new price already. If they've got stock in hand for the existing orders they shouldn't be affected, it's only if they took orders for stock they were anticipating getting from their supplier in the coming days.

They sent an email with their “new prices” which were actually £15 lower than their new prices because it’s with a discount included - so they’re topping out at £325.

To be honest I had been planning to stick with them but I just find them disingenuous now. They’re offering 7.2mg of wegovy as an alternative to 15mg of Mounjaro without mentioning that 7.2mg hasn’t been approved for UK sale yet and they don’t know when that will happen. They’ve just put “TBC” on their pricing and that to me reeks of desperation. I have no doubt that a lot of people will be sticking with them, but I’m going to order one more pen to get a recent prescription in November and then switch pharmacies

random223 · 27/08/2025 07:50

Does anyone know if it is possible to switch pharmacies with a BMI of 25? I am down to my last dose and worried about the lack of stock with my current pharmacy (have a delivery booked for this weekend but...)

HereIGoOnceMore · 27/08/2025 07:58

It would be helpful if Monj was clearer about the acceptance criteria for maintenance providers. I recently went through the Medexpress process only to be rejected.

It would be handy to have a chart of acceptance criteria alongside the price comparison.

KrankyKumquat · 27/08/2025 08:07

@HereIGoOnceMore
There's a maintenance section which tells you this. It's usually pretty up to date. Medex aren't on it.

I switched to Simple Online Pharmacy with a BMI below 25.

Choux · 27/08/2025 08:12

Hopefully the Monj maintainence info will get updated soon as I am looking for a new supplier. BMI officially 25 but actually about 24 - I am nervous about being cut off so hover around 25.

@random223 I am expecting to be able to change pharmacies but not everyone will accept us and pharmacy policies may be changing. I am hoping to be able to decide who to switch to in early September when stocks are flowing again and suppliers can see how many sales they are getting. Or not getting.

Ouskh before and after for customers and maintenance (with fixed discounts and their steep £6.99 P&P where applicable before and after) - picture

Thanks for sharing this but unfortunately it isn't correct. I've been paying £126.65 for a 5mg on maintenance so actually it's a bigger increase than this table suggests 😔

MummyInTheNecropolis · 27/08/2025 08:25

Has anyone ordered from Dr. Frank’s? They were the only one I could find with 10mg in stock so I’ve just placed an order with them. Just wondering if anyone has ordered with them recently and whether it actually went through ok?

FoxRedPuppy · 27/08/2025 09:43

Here’s probably a stupid question. If you are with a pharmacy that doesn’t support maintenance do they just cut you off at some point? I’m with Asda, and had been planning to switch to a maintenance one before the price rise drama.

My BMI is currently just above 25 (25.8). I’ve got about a stone left to target weight, then will they stop allowing me to order? What if I manage to keep my BMI at healthy?
