Well done to those redditors and you @QueenOfHiraeth I’ve reported Dr Franks for their very underhand business practices and I can see from that Reddit thread that they’re even worse than I thought.

@QueenOfHiraeth, I sent GPhC the website link and screenshots of Juniper using the trial results of 7.2mg to promote Wegovy, but omitting the fact that they can't actually sell it at the moment (which to me is more serious as it's actually misleading), but they replied that advertising isn't under their remit. It's down to ASA and MHRA. I would class the website claims as patient information as much as it is advertising, but their reply is as attached. So they won't act on ads.

Yes, you can cancel any time with Juniper subscription.

In fact I went to cancel the day after my pen came (I do this with every supplier) and upon cancelling they offered by an extra £40 off for the next 2 months. They takes the price to lower than I can buy elsewhere- so I stayed.

There seems to be a big side to Juniper that is lifestyle coaching, on-hand 121 support. That sort of thing. I am not at all interested in this element of thr subscription but I'm sure some people are. I have just removed notification permissions so they leave me alone.

Sorry I dropped off the conversation and was just coming back to ask if any providers have confirmed new pricing yet? Oushk have nothing on their website and I can't bear to joint the Facebook page. Any confirmed comparison charts around? Also a bit dejected at the news of the new pen designs and ending of the bonus dose :(

How long do people thing for the new pens to filter down through? I’ve just bought enough needles etc for 10 bonus doses. Would at least like to get to use two or three of those!

Yeah I’ve just seen the Reddit post and I know in America they have exact dosage pens x 4 each month. I’m guessing there will be a couple of ml for priming the needle but that’s it.

I can imagine it might be a couple of months but it depends on demand, how many they manufacture in advance etc. I’m nearly out of my 10 pack, I guess I won’t need anymore!

Guess that’s the issue with stuff being posted all over SM, Lilly have realised they’re losing out on money.

Just looked at the Reddit thread on 'new' pens, and it's not confirmed at all. One poster who seems knowledgeable is sure it's just a change in the wording of the documentation to comply with regulations, and not a change in the physical manufacturing of the KwikPen. Also no suggestion that we are getting the American-style pens.

No one said it was confirmed but I wouldn’t read that Reddit thread and be absolutely certain they’re not changing the pens. Especially as some pharmacists have also had heads up about pens changing. Someone mentioned it on one of these threads this week as well.

No one can say either way what’s happening and I doubt we’d know before they issue them unless it was leaked.

The discussion on here in the last hour or so read as if the possibility of a fifth dose is definitely being phased out, @MynameisJune. A matter of when, not if. I wanted to make it clear that it is not definite at all, to reduce any unnecessary worry.

There is absolutely no suggestion that the KwikPen is being redesigned or replaced.
