Is it Royal Mail? Round here DPD still deliver on Sundays and bank holidays.

It's RM, who are generally fine here and I haven't had a problem with for MJ

Argh, my cloud order has been cancelled, and oushk order hasn't turned up. It should have arrived yesterday but the tracking info still says "we're expecting your parcel".

No deliveries now until Tuesday so the cold chain will be broken

I have tried a curate order but they need a video call before approving (which I have booked for the first available date). I have no confidence that the order won't be cancelled like cloud.

The cold chain won’t be broken. “We are expecting your parcel” means your provider has generated the shipping label but not yet dispatched. Your pen will be in your prescribers fridge / cold store until the point Royal Mail come to collect.
(I queried this exact tracking status with my provider as I was panicking about the pen sitting around in a van somewhere and the above is what they told me)

Don't worry about the 'we're expecting your parcel' notification. It just means Oushk have printed a label and it's scanned into the system, but not yet left the pharmacy. It'll be in cold storage until it's dispatched.

I’m on 15mg and my supplier (chemist4u) is out of stock and has no interest whatsoever in helping me, does anyone know where I can get 15mg as a new customer?

FlappyFish · 23/08/2025 10:33

I don’t think you’ll be able to, is the sadly honest answer. It seems no where will take on anyone new as the prioritise those on their books. Totally understandable or they will lose their current customer base. Stock sells out in about 15 mins I think based on other comments even then. You can only check the comparison sites and see.

That’s just what I’ve been told by all three of my prescribing pharmacies, I know even on places like Reddit you’ll talk about splitting doses etc and get a lot of stick!

I think you are correct that it’s a widely held belief. Interestingly, I am a HCP who doesn’t work in weight loss, but I completed some online training for my own interest about 18 months ago and the training reinforced the myth that lower doses are not effective. So it isn’t really surprising that lots of Pharmacists believe it to be true.

My personal mission I suppose is that I don’t think people should be rushed into going up the doses too fast if they don’t need to.

Oushk said it was dispatched on Thursday for delivery on Friday though.

If it hasn't left yet that's fine (though inconvenient) but that's not what the information says.

I do think some have rushed. I had a friend who started in February, she’s on 15mg and having a horrid time. She’s lost enough weight to go from being obese to being a healthy weight (I think about 5 or 6 stone in total), but she’s so unwell now. I’m not ok 15mg yet despite having been on it for a year and she doesn’t understand how I’m not unwell. It’s such a shame they rush people.

I've just checked Juniper and they have stock

I ordered 7.5mg as a new customer last week and mine came within 2 days. Price for 15mg is £249-£75 discount code, so £174. You also get £25 off your next 2 months.

I have a discount code if you need it (it's on the Weight Loss discount code board)

I'd say just keep your fingers crossed that Oushk did the label then thought better about letting it leave before a bank hol weekend. It's odd to create the label and not ship though, given it will inevitably lead to confusion and worried comms from the customer.

It’s pretty standard, and earlier in the week Oushk did say they’ve been having problems with DPD. The parcel will still be in the fridge.

It shouldn't be standard - it's very poor service.

SENsupportplease · 23/08/2025 11:10

@Trinckthank you, am prob being daft but how to I request the 15mg? It’s asking for payment without me having done any consultation

SENsupportplease · 23/08/2025 11:13

@Trinckplease can you message me your discount code as I can’t find the right thread

My prescriber told me labels are 'auto-generated' as soon as the order is approved. The labels then sit in a big queue that staff work through and package each parcel and put it in a shipping pile. That pile then gets collected in the afternoon.
The following day they work on the next however many labels and dispatch that afternoon etc.
So I think the label has been generated and is sitting in the queue ready for packing and sending.

Edited to add - I liken it a bit to eBay (am currently selling clothes that are too big). As soon as I download the shipping label the item I am selling is marked as 'dispatched'. But at that point I have not yet packaged it and taken it to the post office.

This is a process that could very easily be changed so it doesn't trigger a dispatch notification causing panic and confusion.

I know eBay/Amazon do it, but if you were a business seller you would get a black mark if the package didn't then dispatch on time.

I say this as someone who runs an e-commerce business that ships tens of thousands of parcels a year.

I always look at things from the customer perspective, even at Christmas when I am working 16 hour days. If I sent a dispatch email and then didn't dispatch, I would be following it up to apologise. Even more important for medication that people will sit in for so it doesn't get warm.

I know pharmacies are under pressure but this is really basic, avoidable stuff.

Anyone heard from Medicine Market Place? I'm a regular and was on holiday when this all kicked off. I had placed to order a bit late due to the delivery as I wasn't home but not the stock vanished. It still says out of stock and will email when back in. I wonder if it will be out of stock until the price increase and suddenly appear. What do people think?

Three minutes after I finally emailed Farmeci to ask for an update on my order after a week of silence, I got an approval email... Didn't that happen to someone else? I'm beginning to suspect that their Customer Support is one guy in an office approving orders triggered by customer complaints 🤨

That was me. Order turned up yesterday, but only 1 when I had requested 2 and they allow more than 1 regularly.

Does anyone know how long IQ doctor take to review recently?

Email from them yesterday to say my order from Friday 15th was approved and in the queue to be checked and dispatched. I’m expecting it to be Tuesday now before I hear anything else.

There is a problem though MMP are relatively small based on their previous stock allocations they likely supply around 10,000- 15,000 people per month. There are 1.5 million people taking WLI, MedExpress and Pharmacy2U supply hundreds of thousands of people per month. They know the small pharmacies offering 15mg pens sub £300 can't possibly supply everyone, thus people will still have to buy from them. The big guns really only have to complete with each other. I think we'll have a better overall picture once Pharmacy2U, Simple Online Pharmacy and IQ doctor declare their prices.

I agree with this.

Whilst currently the Medicine Marketplace future prices look the most competitive, it's all very well and good having good prices but they need to be able to actually fulfil the orders they receive. That will be the telling benchmark going forward.

Can their supply chain and fulfilment process actually handle the number of potential new customers that they could attract with their prices?

This entire sage is going to shake up quite a few of the players in this marketplace. I really can't see those selling at the £400 mark for the 15mg pens retaining customers unless their lower strength pens are an attractive price point for those wishing to purchase at that level.

MynameisJune · 23/08/2025 12:13

And yes I expect they’ll be out of stock until the price increases because Eli Lilly and the wholesalers have put caps on order quantities.

grumpymummy72 · 23/08/2025 12:15

Just tried to order usual 12.5mg from Medexpress but they are not offering that nor 15mg any more. Just hope 10mg will do the job.

McGuyverTheCat · 23/08/2025 12:16

Asda online confirmed my order (7.5 pen) by email and said it would be available after 3pm yesterday.

But now I’m here to collect it from the actual pharmacy they can’t fulfil it as they’ve been sent no stock for over a week - all they have are some 2.5 and that’ll need me to have a new prescription.

They’ve pharmacist thinks the supplier is deliberately holding back to sell at the higher price next month

That’s bad! Is there not another Asda pharmacy nearby they can source it from?
