@Trinckthank you, am prob being daft but how to I request the 15mg? It’s asking for payment without me having done any consultation

I've just sent you a PM with my £75 discount code.

I ordered last weekend as a new customer. I was asked to put in payment details and it took a holding payment while the prescription checks were done. These checks were all done over WhatsApp the same day for me. Then the dose was confirmed and payment, with discount, went through.

All of the pharmacies I've used (I jump suppliers every month) ask for payment before checks are done.

I received the pen 2 days later. Incidentally, I didn't know this when ordering but they also send you free Bluetooth digital scales.

Email from them yesterday to say my order from Friday 15th was approved and in the queue to be checked and dispatched. I’m expecting it to be Tuesday now before I hear anything else.

On 15th it wouldn't even let me order. I only have the bonus dose left and sitting on it not knowing what to do for the best.

MynameisJune · 23/08/2025 12:37

@LunchtimeNaps that’s rubbish, I know no one could have really predicted that the wholesaler would limit already planned stock deliveries but this whole thing has been so badly handled. Pharmacies allowing people to buy 2-3 pens each time and panic buying has caused more stock issues than expected to.

ReluctantCustomer · 23/08/2025 12:40

I must say, I'm so glad I haven't rushed through the dosage levels. I started in March, always using the extra dose, and did a 2.5 pen, one and a half pens at 5, now on 7.5 and staying there as suppression is so high. In fact, we are away this weekend, so I split my most recent one into 2.5, and a 5 which I'll take when we get home. It's much less severe for me this week, which means I can actually enjoy this wedding!

Just tried to order usual 12.5mg from Medexpress but they are not offering that nor 15mg any more. Just hope 10mg will do the job.

When they ran out of 15mg on Thursday night, I went to order 12.5 yesterday but dithered. I now don't fancy ordering 10mg and paying nearly £200 for it when I'll likely lose nowt on it (lost 1 kg on my first week of 10mg and maintained for the remaining four weeks according to my shotsy app)

WorriedRelative · 23/08/2025 12:55

I have just tried juniper, the £75 discount is on monj so I used that. Will see if they approve given my BMI

I've just looked at Juniper but it seemed really confusing (choose your plan / add discount code etc)

MissMogs · 23/08/2025 13:40

I was also confused by Juniper - they wanted money before I’d selected what strength I wanted so how do I know what money they’ll take?

This really didn't help either when I read it on the mounj discount code page

They take a holding payment when you order. It's the price of the starter dose - £114 for me on 18th August. Then I had my consultation (done over WhatsApp messages) the next day and 7.5mg agreed - so £40 taken on 19th August to match the total of £154. Pen was delivered 21st August.

Personally speaking, I'm the most impressed with them than any other supplier I've used.

BTW- if you use my discount then I get the referral discount off my next order. Rather than Monj getting it. Vipers helping each other and all that😏

As above.

They take a holding payment when you order, then do a consultation over WhatsApp messages (mine was the next day). Then the order is confirmed at the dose you are prescribed.

Juniper showing all doses in stock currently.

I have a voucher code you can use at checkout for £75 off.

It feels like the wholesaler did it as a bit of a spiteful thing, because they realised they’d be losing sales in September

Trinck · 23/08/2025 14:04

Fylde Clinic, who I panic bought with when this all kicked off, have just refunded me. They've sat on my payment for over a week. Email says:

"Dear Customer,

We have received your request but our Pharmacist has informed you that we're trying our best to get hold of Mounjaro stocks for you.

As we have waited Friday and no delivery turned up, so we have refunded your order."

Pharmaesthetics Central and Curate are also both sitting on my money snd I've had no contact. I've requested refunds ftom both because I'm not happy with the complete lack of contact.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 23/08/2025 14:05

@Trinck that all makes perfect sense now thank you so much. I'll go back and have another look. If I order, I'll use your code. (I've taken a note of it from your weight loss code thread)

You mean subscription as in the same price every month? I think they sell do that if you don't change dosage of you pen.

Certainly the 6 different pharmacies I have used wanted to automatically send me a pen the following month. I had to actively cancel subscriptions to stop this, because I chase voucher codes snd cheapest options.

Littlelambseativy · 23/08/2025 15:19

I had my order approved by Zavamed yesterday after 7 days. However the payment has dropped off now. I assume they’ll just retake the payment?

Hi yeah I would like to stay on dose of pen on as working with 0.5 incremental increase

Hopscotch12 · 23/08/2025 17:51

I went up from 2.5 to 5mg yesterday and feel really unwell today, so nauseated, heartburn and headache….did anyone else experience this 🤢
If I never see another pen again I really dont mind 😔

FoxRedPuppy · 23/08/2025 17:52

I had that too. I then went to 3.75 to give my body time. It did wear off after a couple of days.

Did you just count clicks on the pen to adjust dose? Think I’ll do that as I can hardly function today. Just want to lie in bed till I feel better

FoxRedPuppy · 23/08/2025 17:57

Yes, 45 clicks on a 5mg pen. I actually think the following week I did 30 for 2.5, as I was so traumatised by the vomiting 😂
